I offer a highly personalized, attentive style of care that focuses on each pet’s unique needs and routines. I have experience with puppy care, senior pets, and animals who require extra patience, structure, or gentle support. I’m committed to reliable communication, consistent updates, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for every pet I look after. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, understood, and cared for just as they are at home. I have been taking care of pets since I was 12 years old and would love the opportunity to care for your furry friends :)

I take time to learn each pet’s likes, dislikes, and unique routines so I can mirror their normal day as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I maintain their familiar environment, minimizing stress by keeping their feeding areas, rest spots, and daily patterns unchanged. I also provide updates, photos, and messages so owners can feel confident and connected while they’re away!

Mikayla did a fantastic job taking care of our dog for 3 weeks while we visited the area. She walked & played with him and made him feel very comfortable during his time away from home. My husband and I highly recommend Mikayla!

Dates de la garde
I am a recent college graduate from Appalachian State University and will be starting my master’s degree program at UNCW in the fall. I reside in the Brunswick/North Myrtle Beach area and will be living at home during this time so my availability is super flexible! I am more than willing to willing to work around my schedule to accommodate for your furry friend to have a companion! 🐾
