Mikayla did exactly what I needed of her. She dropped in and let Ruby out to pee, took her on a walk, played with her while she was on the walk, sent me pictures of her playing and Ruby laying down at home after she took her back. She made sure Ruby went back out to potty and gave her some snacks and water. She did everything I had asked of her and more. She even double checked with me that Ruby didn’t need anything else I might’ve forgot before she left as I am away from home until tomorrow. Great job

Mikayla always arrives promptly and greets our pups, especially when Bernie becomes anxious about us leaving. We enjoy the photos that she sends during her stay.

Mikayla was far and away the worst sitter I have encountered in my life. My dogs are two goldendoodles, one is a young puppy, and the other is almost 4. The bedroom that Mikayla stayed in contains carpet stains that will need to be professionally cleaned, which were the result of my dogs urinating, defecating, and throwing up while in the room with her. One of the dogs is a puppy, but at this point she is able to consistently go through the night without messing, as long as she is taken outside before bed, so the fact that there were this many stains due to messes is a sign of pure negligence. Mikayla also neglected to take them on any walks outside of the home despite our requests to do so (as evidenced by our Ring camera footage), which is also a likely reason why they messed inside, as well as being denied their typical outdoor activity. As well, she would leave the dogs alone for up to 4 hours at a time without notifying us, sometimes several times per day (also evidenced by the Ring cameras) - one of our dogs is a young puppy and has never been left alone that long before. She did inform us during the stay of a single feces mess, which she said she cleaned, but neglected to inform us of any of the other stains, of which there were 8 in total. She also graced us with the gift of several body piercings that she left on our kitchen counter, which is another sign of the negligence that she exhibited. I have used Rover several times before for various levels of dog care, and never before have I interacted with an individual as careless as Mikayla was with our two goldendoodles. If you care about the wellbeing of your fur babies, I’d strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for pet care.

Mikayla stayed with our dogs for several overnights and was great. They warmed to her quickly and she took photos to keep us connected. She is reliable and loves animals. She also took care of our house - left it tidy and clean. Would definitely recommend and look forward to her caring for our pups in the future.
