Cats, Dogs & Chickens - Oh my!
Please Note: I am unable to stay overnight as of now, but I can stay extended hours with your pets while you are out of town! I always grew up around animals - cats, dogs, fish, chickens, reptiles - you name it! My family has always loved pets, and often rescues dogs and cats that are abandoned on the quiet country road that my sister lives off of. I am excellent at identifying the needs and boundaries of each individual animal. I study Applied Behavior Analysis, a science that uses reinforcement to change behavior for the better, and my knowledge of this field has allowed me to work with animals that struggle with some behavioral issues. Additionally, I volunteer at a cat sanctuary that specializes in providing senior or disabled cats with a better life. If your pet has some unique qualities, send me a message and can give them all the individualized care they need!

Since I am unable to house additional pets in my apartment, I make sure that I treat your home as I would treat mine. I always like to leave a place better than when I found it, so if any messes are made, I will treat your home and property with the utmost respect and care.

Mikayla is a great petsitter! We have used her to petsit a dog and a cat over 4 separate times, ranging from 3 days to 8 days. She is phenomenal, and both the dog and cat love to hang out with her. She takes 100% of the pet-related stress out of our travels. Mikayla is our go to, and we won't be using anyone except her!
We hired Mikayla to watch our two cats, one of which was a very young kitten. She did an excellent job, was very communicative, and very lovely to work with. I was very nervous about leaving my little kitten, but she did such an excellent job and relieved so much of my stress! Both of my cats love her, and I can’t recommend her enough.
Mikayla is so professional and courteous! Your pet will be in good hands with her- she is a total animal lover and will give your pets all the attention and love they need while also making sure they are staying safe and healthy!

Schedule
I’m currently a part-time graduate assistant, but I can be pretty flexible outside of general school hours. I generally am free early morning before 8 and after 3 pm depending on the day. On the weekends, I am typically wide open!
