I am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) through Pet Sitters International and hold certifications in pet care, first aid, and CPR. I am also Fear Free Certified, trained to recognize and address fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS) in animals using gentle control, a considerate approach, touch gradient, and positive reinforcement techniques. My undergraduate degree in Psychology enhances my ability to understand both pets’ and owners’ needs, ensuring a well-rounded approach to pet care. Additionally, I have completed Dog Obedience Training courses through Animal Behavior College, equipping me with the knowledge to address common behavioral concerns. My passion and dedication to pet care have been recognized in publications such as the Argus Leader and Parade magazine. Rather than charging per pet, my pricing for drop-in visits and dog walking is based on the total time required — including travel to and from your home, as well as the time spent providing care. Charging mileage fees (when over 10 minutes away) instead of per pet allows me to be fairly compensated for my time and dedication while ensuring equitable pricing for multi-pet households. Please note that my maximum travel distance is 30 minutes from my home. I provide new clients with an online booking information packet that outlines my pricing details before confirming their reservation. My lifelong love for animals, combined with my extensive experience, allows me to create a comfortable and stress-free environment for all pets. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to St. Bernards, as well as cats, rabbits, fish, and even chickens. My experience includes working with special needs animals, understanding their unique physical and emotional requirements. At home, I have my own dog, Zoey, who adores every animal and person she meets. She enjoys making new friends, just as I do! I provide personalized care, including walks, playtime, park visits, and plenty of cuddles. Your pets will be in a safe, loving, and enriching environment, where they are treated like family.

With a flexible schedule, I can accommodate drop-off and pickup times, as well as drop-in visits and walks, to best fit your needs. When pets stay in my home, they are treated like family, enjoying a comfortable, kennel-free environment—except during my scheduled drop-in visits or walks. I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment with a fenced-in yard and a friendly dog who loves making new friends. My home is thoughtfully set up with pet gates, child-locked trash cans, and no clutter or unsafe food access to ensure your pet’s well-being. With indoor and outdoor cameras, I always know what the dogs are up to. Multiple dog beds and water bowls ensure comfort and hydration at all times. I never offer rawhides or anything that could be harmful to your pet. To maintain a safe and social atmosphere, I require meet-and-greets before booking to ensure all dogs are friendly and compatible. A typical day
I typically have multiple dogs I'm sitting every day so your dog will have many playmates to choose from. Your dog can enjoy walks, playing fetch, going to the park, and eating homemade treats. I provide lick mats, Toppls, snuffle mats, and a variety of toys and bones for mental stimulation. In the summer, pups can cool off in my kiddie pool or, for water lovers, we can take a trip to the nearby beach. Whether I am boarding your fur baby or stopping by your home to check on them, I will treat your pet as if they are my own. Which usually entails about a million kisses a day, lots of belly rubs, and many “good girl/ good boy” comments. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family.
