Ein typischer Tag
When your dog or cat is with me, they’re not just being watched, they’re having fun, feeling loved, and getting all the attention they deserve. For dogs, a typical day might look like: Morning walks to sniff the neighborhood and stretch those legs Frisbee or fetch in the yard or at a nearby park High-energy zoomie play sessions (because sometimes we all need to run wild!). Enrichment activities like treat puzzles or scent games to keep their minds busy. Cuddle breaks and belly rubs while I work from home. Car rides to grab a pup cup (if allowed!) - because some dogs just love the breeze, a mid day sweet treat and an open window drive. Another walk or play session in the afternoon to burn off that last bit of energy. For cats, it’s all about tuning into their unique personality. Whether they want interactive play, wand toys, quiet companionship, or a cozy lap, I’m there to make sure they feel comfortable and happy. Every pet is different, so I always tailor our time together to what they love most, whether that’s chasing a ball, curling up for a nap, or sniffing around the yard.

Hi! I grew up with German Shorthaired Pointers, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and my heart. I know that our pups aren’t just pets, they’re family, and I treat every dog I care for with that same love and respect. Whether your dog loves a good game of fetch, long walks, car rides for a treat, or just curling up for a cuddle session, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and totally loved while you’re away. Big or small, high energy or laid-back, your dog is in great hands with me!

Mikayla did fantastic housesitting our pets while on vacation. Her communication was excellent and our pups were well taken care of!
Mikayla has grew up with multiple dogs in the house, and is currently a sibling to a German Shorthair Pointer and GSP/Lab mix. She has a lifetime of experience caring for dogs from puppyhood through old age and it shows! She recognizes and considers age and breed differences in her interaction with our dogs, and pays close attention to canine body language…which was a necessary skill to me, to insure the safety and health of my dogs when I’m away!! She also LOVES animals, of all kinds and will give your pet the affection and attention they deserve while you are gone ! Mikayka has demonstrated reliability and accountability - I trust her with our fur babies who we love like the kids/family members they are!!
Mikayla is a dog whisperer! She has a way of making every dog love her. Her love for dogs can be witnessed in how to treats and cares for them.
