I have lots of experience with dog care in and out of people’s homes. I will take them out for walks and to relieve themselves when needed. I am skilled with a litterbox scooper and love to play with or give cuddles to kitties!

We cannot recommend Mikala enough! Leaving our cat Salem while we were away for nearly two weeks on our honeymoon was one of the hardest parts of the trip, but she gave us complete peace of mind from day one. She checked on Salem daily, spent quality time with him, made sure he was fed, comfortable, and cared for, and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout our trip. As devoted pet parents, those updates meant the world to us and allowed us to truly enjoy our honeymoon knowing Salem was in such loving hands. It was clear she genuinely cared about him and treated him like one of her own. We came home to a happy, healthy, well-loved cat, and we are so incredibly grateful for the care and attention she provided. Mikala was wonderful with our Elsa!! She was so thorough in her notes, and made sure Elsa was loved and cared for while we were away. She was prompt and consistent with each check in! I would absolutely recommend Mikala and book with her again!
Mikala was prompt, professional and polite. We were happy to get out on the town knowing our dogs were going to get out for their bathroom breaks and have their normal dinner time.

I am currently a graduate student for counseling, doing school online and internship work part time. I am free most days in the morning and afternoon, though nighttimes my availability changes.

- I would like to know the dog’s energy level, as well as it’s triggers and what to do to avoid adverse reactions to possible noises, stress, etc. It is also important to know if the dog is neutered/spayed and if it requires a gentle lead or certain harness for walking. With cats, I’d like to know if they are shy or outgoing, and if there are any escape artists. If I can make them feel safe by taking off shoes or being quiet when entering the house, please let me know!
