Senior pets have a special place in my heart. I’ve had pets my whole life, growing up with two dogs, (A golden, named princess and a Vizsla, named Ruby Rose) and a handful of kitties whom I’ve loved till their 9th life. I am comfortable with administering medications, following specific diets, and attending to your pet’s unique quirks and specificities! I have dog-sat for friends and neighbors over the years, and I also pet sit on Trusted House Sitters

Mikaila was great. Luckily, she had an opening on short notice. She came right over to meet my puppy. She asked all of the pertinent questions and made sure we knew how to reach one another. She went out of her way to take Milly to the better dog park, which is a further drive. I would highly recommend her.
Mikaila is a kind, energetic, and responsible pet sitter who treats our dog Gigi as lovingly as she would her own dog. I know she is a cat owner and loves cats too. We choose Mikaila when we have to travel and can't bring our dog, and we prefer she stays at our house so that Gigi will be most comfortable, and so that we don't have to worry while we are away. It's worth the small investment for that peace of mind, and besides, our dog loves all the attention she gets from Mikaila! Highly recommend!
We selected Mikaila to watch our 7yo Viszla for several weeks. She was amazing with her and very attentive. We appreciate her communication, cleanliness and care she provided for Lucy. We would definitely ask her back and love that she was so flexible and helpful for our family.

I’m off work this summer, so pet care fits easily into my day! Mornings, afternoons, evenings, whatever works best for your pet’s routine.

- Please let me know what commands your pet knows, and if they tend to pull on the leash when walked, or lunge at other passing dogs, even if it’s just playfully, just so I’m prepared ahead of time, especially for larger doggo’s Also, please let me know generally what sort of behavior is “normal” for your kitty. Such as: If your kitty is more timid, and hiding under furniture is their norm, or, if your kitty is very vocal and talkative, so I know what abnormal behavior to look out for
