I work from 10-3 almost everyday. And I am off on weekends. I’d have availability for evening walks for your pets or overnight boarding each day. My husband works from home and so he will work with me if I need help watching your pet!

A typical day
There is a small dog park nearby where I can take the dogs for pee breaks. I also love walking around the neighborhood which is quiet and suburban and would bring the dogs with me to explore. I try to change the routes every time I go which provides more stimulation.

Pet care experience
I lived on a 5 acre farm in another state and moved to Miami to pursue my education. I owned all kinds of animals from dogs, cats, fish, birds, and reptiles and loved every minute of it. I have hand raised dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds in size and from puppies to senior dogs, hand feeding them if feeding was difficult and administering medicine to my aging dogs or for glaucoma. My husband works from home so if I ever need help or if I step out, he will watch the pet in my stead.

Mikaela was an absolute lifesaver for my family! We needed someone to look after our two German Shepherd dogs while we were away for four days, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. You will not be disappointed.
Mikaela has watched my two dogs multiple times and has done a fantastic job each time. She is always responsible and pays attention to the specific needs of each dog. In addition to walking, she's watched them full time for multiple days and is my go to dog sitter. My dogs are extremely comfortable with her and love being watched by her, she takes the time to spend quality time with them whenever she watches them. She is also a very attentive dog walker, especially as one of my dogs is sometimes reactive.
Mikaela (Miki) has loved animals her entire life. She grew up on a farm where she cared for all kinds of animals (Dogs, Cats, Chickens, etc). She has an incredible way with animals. As her husband, I have seen her first hand working with her parents two large German Shepherds; feeding them, walking them, grooming them, training them, cuddling them and occasionally administering their medicine. She helps all of her friends and family members care for their animals when needed. Miki and I hope to adopt a dog of our own someday soon - until then, Miki is eager and excited to help our community walk and care for its pets.
