My name is Mikaela and I have been an avid dog lover my whole life. My family has raised 5 dogs to date, and I have been able to aid in caring for our senior golden, Bailey, and our newest puppy, a springer spaniel. I'm active and well-versed in different play styles, calm with reactive dogs, and consistent with routines. I know that each dog has a personality, which requires slightly different care but I am confident in my abilities to care for your dog the best way possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize clients feeling safe and comfortable with the person staying in their homes. I adhere to agreed upon rules, stick to common spaces, and communicate openly during my stay if anything happens. Walking, I keep an eye out for bikes and cars, pre-plan my route, and do my best to avoid less than ideal conditions (hot asphalt, salty sidewalks, etc) if possible.

Mikaela was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time leaving my anxious elder dog at home with a stranger so I was very nervous. Mikaela was willing to meet with us a few times before her stay which helped calm my nerves and allowed me to feel at ease as I left for my wedding weekend out of town. I would 100% recommend her and definitely plan to use her again in the future!

Mikaela did a great job with my two high-maintenance French Bulldogs. Courteous, followed my directions, and was on time. Would use again for sure!
Mikaela was a wonderful pet sitter! Communicative, very responsible. She even took the extra time to be with our dogs to make sure they weren't afraid of the fireworks.

Schedule
I work from home Monday, Thursday, Friday and have a flexible work schedule so I can provide morning or afternoon walks. If you’re flexible on time, I can provide mid day walks based on my meeting schedule.
