I have two major passions in my life: animals and being active. From a young age I developed a deep love for animals. Since moving to Seattle a few years ago, there is nothing I miss more than my family dogs and cats back home in California. I have extensive experience in pet sitting with regular clients with large, energetic pets like a year old husky or old souls like an eight year old Persian cat. I am also an extremely active person. When I am not rowing competitively for university, I can be found hiking, running, surfing, or playing soccer. It is my goal to make sure your furry family member is cared for in whatever way possible!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a secure, camera monitored duplex. We have an enclosed back grass area and small front yard. When staying with a pet at you home, I am diligent about locking doors when not there and setting security systems if you have them.

We are so glad to have found Mikaela. She took great care of our 2 year old Labrador sharing photos and updates regularly. Taking him on long 2+ miles walks everyday! Given his high energy levels and not so great leash discipline, that’s not easy. :) She also cleaned up the place and made us delicious muffins before leaving.
Mikaela has been a great sitter. She always goes the extra mile to make sure our pup is well cared for!
Mikaela was so wonderful and did a great job taking care of our elderly pup who has a lot of medications and a pretty structured schedule. We received timely updates and she took great care of our home as well. We are so grateful and will absolutely be leaning on her in the future to help take care of our guy.
Mikaela was awesome! She arrived right on time and sent pics of my pup totally relaxed in her presence which is rare! I would definitely use her again!
Mikaela is awesome! She has stayed with our 2 dogs twice this summer and we have been very impressed with her. Love that she sends you updates and pictures of the dogs.

Schedule
I currently work full time from home for a local outdoor action sport company. My work can come with me wherever I go as long as the wifi is strong! Schedule is semi flexible to accommodate short walks and potty breaks.

- I have always had a special place in my heart for big dogs, especially lab mixes. However, I truly love all animals, no matter what size or how old. It is important for me to know the health history of your animal as well as any allergies. Also how your four legged friend interacts with other animals/humans.
