The Animal-Loving Dynamic Duo!
We are a husband and wife team (Mika and Koji) who love all animals (we specialize in dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds)! I (Mika) have taken care of pets since I was a kid, both my own pets and the pets of friends and neighbors. In the last few years, my husband Koji and I have started pet-sitting and house-sitting for people more regularly and professionally. We love to walk dogs, play with cats and bunnies, and cuddle pets who need love & care while their humans are out of town, on vacation, etc.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a two story house with a fenced-in yard in a safe neighborhood. We do not currently have any dogs or cats of our own, so we are both readily able to host pets in our house or stay in someone else's home to take care of pets. We do have two bunnies (one whom we rescued and adopted in Nov. 2023, and one whom we adopted in Feb. 2024), but they are completely separated from the other pets that we board and care for, so it is not an issue at all. (PLEASE NOTE: It says that we have two "dogs" on our Rover profile but that is only because Rover has no other way of listing small animal pets. If you look closer, you will see the profiles for our two bunnies, who have their own room and are separate from where we board dogs and cats.) We have no allergies to animals and live in a smoke and chemical-free environment. Our neighborhood is a great place for walking dogs, but we also enjoy taking dogs to parks and dog-friendly places to romp and play.

It was Pendleton’s first overnight with a sitter and Koji was amazing with him! Koji kept us updated all throughout the stay and even washed the beddings he used and left the house spotless! Thank you for giving us peace of mind that Pendleton was in good hands. You are now a part of our pack! We will definitely continue to use Mika and Koji for our furry babies.

You handled our big lug with confidence and love. You eased our worries with the updates and pictures you provided. Mika and Koji are always the best. They are so attentive to our pets’ needs, they’re loving and caring, and flexible and understanding when there are any hiccups in plans. Our dog is already anxiously awaiting his next visit with them! ❤️
What a wonderful experience having these two watching our furry baby Leo. They gave us lots of photos & updates, fabulous communication. When we got home, our house was impeccably clean. Leo was calm and happy. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Mika or Koji to watch Leo again.
We are thrilled with the live and care Mika and Koji provided to our Pekingese George. They sent us pictures daily and kept us posted as to how he was doing. He can be a bit spicy and isn’t always cooperative with taking his pills but they won him over! As others noted we came home to a cleaner condo than we left! We would definitely reach out to them again if the need arises.

Schedule
We have a hybrid work schedule (working mostly from home), giving us a very flexible schedule to take better care of your pet(s)! We have a lot of experience house-sitting and staying over at the places we pet sit. We can also host pets in our home, since our own cats have gone to Heaven.
