I’ve had cats and dogs since I was three years old. I also worked part time at a dog groomer for several months. I have also fostered cats and dogs from shelters before.

I offer day boarding only during the summer time. Don’t leave your dog in a hot car while you’re out on the river! Your dog can hang out in my fenced yard under the shade of 130-year old Sycamore trees. Cover is provided for rain protection, and a fan can be turned on to add air movement on the hottest days.

This is the first time we have ever used Rover and I won’t exaggerate in saying Mika was the PERFECT person for us to try out Rover with. She communicated wonderfully, sent us lots of updates on our pup with pictures. We very much appreciated her assistance today. Thank you!
Mika was available last-minute to watch watch my high energy shepherd mix while my family was rafting. My dog played with her dog all day and was happy and tired when we picked him up. I would definitely recommend her services.
Mika rocks! Reliable, caring person. Glad I found her! She has a friendly dog which loves to play. She took both dogs for a 2 mile hike and sent lots of pics.

Mika is a great, dog loving, and trustful human! She’s always my go to dog sitter, and treats my dog just like her own. When I leave Daisy with her I have peace of mind knowing that she will get plenty of attention and exercise.

Schedule
I am a teacher so I am available after 3pm on school days. I have almost unlimited availability for the summertime. Weekends can be scheduled in advance for drop-ins. Weekends can be scheduled same day or earlier for day care according to calendar availability.
