I CATER TO DOGGIES UNDER 20Lbs & SPECIALIZE IN SMALL DOGGIEs. PUPs over that weight will be considered case by case & MUST do well with small fur babies during our meet n greet. This is my full time job & it's taken very seriously. I’ve had reptiles, kittens, & puppies since I was a young man & living with my parents, I’m now 53 & your pets will receive lots of love in our home. That said YUP, I get paid to love your furry family and love I will & we'll enjoy him or her while your away 🥰 BE SURE TO ASK ME FOR A FREE HAIRCUT DURING YOUR PUPPIES’ FIRST STAY IF YOUR BOOKING FOR MORE THAN 2 DAYS - ask me for details Puppies staying here should be comfortable with crating just while they sleep & eat, otherwise were outside having fun. Your fur babies will be very safe in our home. I take safety very seriously & we have a doggie park like two gate system that I’ve installed on my driveway. From our backyard the doggies would have to get past two fences to get out into the world. This makes it so that if a furry baby slips by one door the second gate keeps them in. Additionally, I have 8+ foot fences all around my property & did all this cause your pups’ wellbeing while your away is my #1 priority. *Puppies should have at least their second set of shots, including the Bordatella vaccine & the vaccinations we need to have your pups be current on are Bordatella, DHPP, & Rabies. Hours: My normal drop off hours are any time within 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM however the earlier the better to give pups time to acclimate before bedtime. Pick up hours are 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, all BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. New and non-regular dogs do best if check in by 4:00pm to have enough time to adjust & play with others. I keep my prices low but the extras are extra. Here's a break down: Holidays: A Holiday Rate of $10 more per pup per night or per visit will apply if their stay or visit includes a holiday time period which includes Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Spring Break, Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Father’s Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas. This rate may apply for up to a week surrounding the holiday. For stays during Christmas: I will take drop-offs BEFORE 4:00pm on December 24 and pick-ups AFTER 10:30am on December 26. No Easter pick-ups or drop-offs available. Special Charges: $10 more per day for last minute bookings within 24hrs of drop off per pup $5 more per day per for wet & refrigerated food $0-5 more per day for doggies that require special attention $50 Vet for vaccinations $20 Pick up dog food $25 Groomer Visit $30-50 for me to groom them. (I only do haircuts & pup must be recently washed. First haircut is on the house on 2+day stays; & will gladly take a tip. After 1st haircut I can tell you the exact price going forward) Up to $20 Convenience Fee if we arrange pickup outside normal pick up and drop off hours. Extended Care Rates: If the end time is scheduled 2-8 hours later than the start time on the first day, you will be charged an additional 50% of the daily rate. If the end time is scheduled 8+ hours later than the start time on the first day, you will be charged the full price of an extra day. Phenomenal. Honestly an 11/10, highly recommend. Miguel runs a really legit operation with multiple spaces inside and outside, sunny spots, shaded spots, the dogs have room to actually play and move around. You can tell this is his full-time passion and that he genuinely loves what he does. Really loved that he screens all dogs with vaccination requirements so everyone stays safe. We also got to do a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel so much more comfortable dropping Nova off. Communication was excellent and consistent throughout. Without a doubt, a top find on Rover. Thanks for everything, Miguel!

This is what I do full time & am just about always home here in a cul-de-sac in the beautiful City of Downey. My only priority is your pup’s wellbeing & making sure they have an excellent experience while they are away from you. I had been working in the Mortgage industry since 1991 when 2022 I decided to start this business as lots of puppy love in my daily life sounded like a great way to make a living.

Puppies are like family to me & I find great joy in learning about different pups because like us they all have their own and very special personalities. Learning what makes puppies happy and thrive & making them feel loved is incredibly rewarding for me.

Ein typischer Tag
There is so much room to run around and play in the large backyard that we don’t do walks & very rarely do I leave the house with them. I have lots of dog toys and balls & we will mostly play all day. There's lots of space in the backyard, the doggie room, & my office for exercise and we use it! I also don't want to risk anything happening to your baby walking on leash, off property. I have no problem establishing myself as the pack leader without an extra walk. I have a dedicated bedroom suite with wood floors and an office with epoxy floors where the pups can retreat to on hot, cold, or wet days. When they are out and about all my floors are very clean, doggy friendly, & am always very near by or with them. Our home is air conditioned & we have 3 doggie doors all around the house making access easy & any special requests will be met with a smile Time I'll spend with your dog: Most of the day, we are inside and outside. We'll sit inside and cuddle and do chores and we'll go outside and race around, play ball and take pictures. I'll give massages, kisses and belly rubs. At night, we'll watch TV together while I send pictures to you if I didn't get a chance during the day & we'll take a few more potty breaks before bed @ 10pm Your dog's sleeping & feeding arrangement: Each family of dogs is separated to eat and sleep by a crate or a pen. These sleeping/eating arrangements are as such so that there are no arguments among friends in the middle of the night, or if we have to leave the house for an errand or during mealtime. I feed them twice a day, once in the morning & once in the evening while we have dinner. We also want them to be safe and not free-roam through the house with each other if we are not there. It is far too risky without these separate arrangements and I caution against any sitter who does otherwise. *No matter where they sleep, all dogs are confined like this at one point or another. *Any dogs not used to some kind of confinement at home will need a day of Day Care to make sure they’ll be happy in a pen or crate. Getting your dog used to small periods of confinement in your home in a den-like crate or a pen will help your dog gain independence, give your dog their own special respite and help smooth the transition into any sitter’s home.
