Your pet needs me in its life
I've always had at least one dog - the longest stint being my Australian Cattle Dog (before they were cool) for 16 years. I raised her from 6 weeks old and she was with me for some of the most important parts of my life. She passed away a couple of years ago, and I'm not ready for another dog yet. My son really wants a dog though, and this is our compromise. I've also had cats, including one who I loved to death but when we found out my son was allergic, we had to give him up. (He also ended up living 17-18 years.) The allergies don't stop my son from interacting with cats in shorter periods of time - we love going to play with the ones at Petsmart. Currently we have a rabbit, some chickens, and a leopard gecko.

I have known Mignon for 10 years, from the time I met her it was very clear to see she gives 110% of herself to everything she cares for. She loves the outdoors and has a deep respect for nature and high compassion for animals. I have no doubt in me that she will be able to provide a great pet caregiving experience to any pet owner needing it!

Schedule
I work from home so I would be with your pet for most (if not all) of the day, if sitting in my home. In between work we can play and I can let them out. Weather permitting, we can go for walks.

Safety, trust & environment
My back yard isn't fenced but it is sizeable so it's hard to wander off unless you've got a runner. In that case, I can take them out on a leash. I will send photos if you request them. Um, not sure what else to put here. I'm open to pre-visits.
