Information Mickayla U. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog like other animals? How does he or she act on the leash? No breed preferences because every dog is the best dog :)
A typical day
For walks, we can adventure around your neighborhood, or play ball in the back yard! There are all kinds of fun things to do, even if it just involves giving them some pets and scratchies.

Pet care experience
Hey! I'm Mickayla and I'm ready to pet your pet! Since childhood, my life has always revolved around animals. I've had dogs of all shapes and sizes, cats, fish, and even a turtle! My first dog, Socks, was with me from puppy-hood to senior citizen status. I've raised up a litter of seven pups, I've fostered cats and dogs, and I've house sit for people with all manner of pets. I have professional training for canine behavior with MARS Petcare, the leading company in pet care, in one on one and group settings, so I know how to take spectacular care of your fur baby in every environment we adventure to! Every animal I interact with is given the attention, respect, care, and love they deserve. Whether you have one dog or thirty dogs, I'm ready to love them all! I bring my own treats to meet-and-greets and all visits, and each dog learns quickly which pocket is my treat-pocket. I have experience with animals that are not great with humans, and know how to give them space while still being available to their needs. Not every person likes to be touched. Some animals are the same way, and that is A-Okay! My background is in veterinary care, dog daycare, show horse training, shelter volunteering, and personal pets. I work as a vet assistant at an animal hospital here in Murfreesboro, and I'm a mom of two kids, a very great dog, and four cats. Feel free to message me and we can figure out how I can be of service to you! I use the Rover App to send Rover cards and pictures for each visit! :)
Reviews

Mickayla is awesome! My fur baby was so happy! I really recommend her!

Mickayla was great and really flexible to work with us. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first time taking our Tex to a Pet sitter for a 3 day weekend and were so nervous about it. Found Mickayla on Rover and after reading the reviews and her experience decided to contact her and was not disappointed from the moment I met her. You can tell she loves animals and takes great care of them. LOVED getting pics and videos of him playing with her dog and her prompt responses to my texts. My only worry was.. that my Tex wouldn’t want to come home with us after getting so much LOVE from Mickayla and having so much fun with his new friends hehe..

This is the second time I’ve used mickayla and she’s awesome. She’s friendly, responds quickly, and takes good care of my dog. Definitely recommend!
