It is important for me to know if your pet has any behavioral problems (resource guarding, aggression towards other dogs, separation anxiety, etc.) I will also ask for an emergency contact and your pet's vet information.

Please see safety and trust section. For dog walking and outings, I will require proof of basic vaccinations (parvo, distemper, rabies, etc.) Also let me know if your dog has a bite history. While I have a lot of experience with dogs, I'm not a certified dog trainer or behaviorist. Upon first meeting your pets, I reserve the right to refuse service if I feel that your pets will endanger my personal safety.

I will take dogs on walks, hikes, play fetch, provide enrichment activities and can take them on car rides depending on the situation. In warmer weather, I can also take dogs swimming.

I've grown up caring for animals and couldn't imagine my life without them. I worked as a kennel attendant at an animal shelter for almost two years. This multifaceted job included caring for animals' basic needs, maintaining sanitary kennels and play yards, administering vaccines, dewormer and medication, as well as exercising the animals and providing enrichment in their daily routine. With my previous experience in the shelter environment and my current part-time work in a pet boarding facility, I am accustomed to handling various breeds, different age groups and temperaments. I am most experienced caring for dogs and cats, but I also have some experience with chickens, cows, goats, rabbits and horses. I hope to meet you and your pets soon! -Mickaelin

Living in a sparsely populated area a bit off the beaten path, we were skeptical of being able to find a local pet sitter willing to stay at our home. We were thrilled to find Mickaelin and so fortunate that she happened to be available on our dates of need. She was very professional and took wonderful care of our three cats and our home while we were away. During an already overwhelming situation, with the need to be far from home for several weeks due to a serious health issue, leaving our kitties and ensuring their care was our biggest stressor. Mickaelin literally lifted that weight from our shoulders, and we were so grateful to have found her, and so were our fur babies; they loved her - even our shy girl warmed right up to her! We would highly recommend Mickaelin.
I've known Mickaelin Little for several years and can confidently recommend her as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. Mickaelin worked for our local animal shelter caring for the animals. On a personal level, on more than one occasion, she has stayed in our home while we were out of town for a month and cared for of our elderly cat with kidney disease who was in need of special care. Mickaelin is kind, gentle and extremely responsible. I highly recommend Mickaelin to take good care of your furry family member.
