A big part of my day is caring for my pet. We go on multiple walks a day around the neighborhood and then a further park or reservation on the weekends. I find great joy in making sure he is happy and healthy!

Please let me know if there are any quirks I should look out for when walking. Are they triggered by a specific noise or sight? Or if they are reactive to children, other dogs, etc. Additionally, if there is anything they are prone to eating off the sidewalk I should be hyper-vigilant about.
A typical day
With permission from the parents, I am able to provide mental enrichment for the pups. If they already have their own toys, great, but I am also able to create puzzles from various things around the house - a rolled up towel, toilet paper rolls stuffed with kibble or treats, empty tissue box (plastic taken off) and given to them with constant supervision. On top of this, training with treats or toys, sniff walks, or walks around the neighborhood - whatever best suits the dog and parents' preferences.

Pet care experience
My shiba is my son, light of my life, and is everything to me. I signed up for Rover to make some extra cash while looking for full time employment, get me out of the house, get my steps in, and do what I love- spend time with animals- all at the same time. I have worked at the Fresh Pond Animal Hospital for two years and am trained in first response (I hope I will not have to while in the care of your furry family member, of course). I will treat your pet as my own and do everything I can to ensure they have a fun, safe, and comfortable experience with me.
