I always ensure the pets are secure via leash before leaving the home to go for walks or when they are "in" for the day (crates, baby gate - no matter their set up). I also gather all the information about the animal - any reactions to certain situations, recall cues etc prior to visits.

Pet care experience
I have always had a love for animals since I can remember. I rescued and rehabbed two feral kittens that were living under a dumpster to my own rescued pup. I have had guest dogs in my home from tiny to extra large. They always received the same care as my own dog from sleeping in bed with us to plenty of walks and outdoor time. They will be in great, responsible hands with me!
