Pet sitting fits well into my schedule, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care while maintaining flexibility. I currently offer overnight house sitting, typically from approximately 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., when many pets appreciate the comfort of having someone with them overnight. During the day, I may have other work or personal commitments depending on the booking, but I always communicate my schedule in advance so expectations are clear. I strive to keep pets on their normal routines for meals, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and companionship while respecting the schedule that works best for each household. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially seniors or pets with medical needs, and I do my best to minimize disruptions to their daily routine. I am able to pick up your animal and drop them off for an additional fee ($10 / day).

When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is maintaining the environment and routines they already know. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, exercise, household rules, and any special care your pet requires. I take time to build trust with each animal, allowing shy or anxious pets to become comfortable at their own pace. Safety is extremely important to me. I pay close attention during walks, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets for changes in behavior or health, and never hesitate to contact an owner if I have a question or concern. I also treat every home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine, keeping it clean, secure, and well cared for during your absence. Communication is a key part of my service. You can expect regular updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing and can have peace of mind while you're away.

Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, with a special appreciation for senior pets and those who need extra patience or consistency. One of the most meaningful experiences I've had was adopting a 12-year-old cat that developed chronic kidney disease (CKD). I cared for her through nearly four years of treatment, managing medications, hydration, appetite, weight, and daily routines until she passed away just shy of her 16th birthday. That experience taught me the importance of careful observation, consistency, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior that can indicate something isn't right. I also have experience caring for a Yorkshire Terrier and understand the unique needs of toy breeds, including their size, energy, and safety considerations. Several family members and friends have larger dogs that I take on walks and care for when they're away. Professionally, my background is in consulting and project management, which has made me highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. I follow instructions carefully, communicate proactively, and believe pet owners deserve regular updates and photos so they can enjoy their time away with confidence. My goal is always to care for your pets the way I would want someone to care for my own.
