Pet care experience

Home Full-Time • Fenced Yard

I’ve had dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been something I truly love. For many years I had two dogs of my own a pitbull who lived to be 15 and a chihuahua who lived to be 14. They were part of my family and I cared for them through every stage of their lives. After recently losing them, my home feels a little empty and I realized how much I miss having dogs around. That’s what inspired me to open my home to help care for other people’s dogs when they need a safe and loving place to stay. Because I know how much dogs mean to their owners, I treat every dog like they are my own. I’m attentive to their routines, personalities, and comfort so they feel relaxed and cared for while they’re here. Since I only host one dog at a time (or two from the same family), every dog receives my full attention in a calm environment.

Michelle is great! Very responsive and attentive. She watched my one year old who has lots of energy and he was so happy to spend time with Michelle and she shared the cutest pictures and updates while I was away.

Michelle is a passionate Dog lover and Mommy to her baby Chanel. When I saw how much love and care she put into her pet I knew she was a good fit for me and my Charlie. She put me at ease when I left Charlie my 4 year old Chihuahua with her. I highly recommend her.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I am home most of the day, so your dog will have plenty of attention and companionship while staying with me. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine since I’m able to be present throughout the day for walks, outdoor time, play, feeding, and cuddles. The only time I may step out is for short errands or a quick trip to the store, but otherwise your dog will not be left alone for long periods of time. Because I only host one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family, I’m able to give each dog the attention and care they deserve. I enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed while they’re here.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog will stay in a calm, safe home environment where they will be treated like part of the family. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely go outside to play and get fresh air. Inside the home, dogs are welcome on the furniture and are free to relax wherever they feel comfortable. They are not crated unless the owner specifically prefers it, and dogs are welcome to sleep in the bed if that’s part of their normal routine. I no longer have pets in the home, so your dog will have a quiet environment and my full attention. I’ve had dogs my entire life and cared for my own for many years, including my pitbull who lived to be 15 and my chihuahua who lived to be 14. I will follow your dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible during their stay. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for.

A typical day

Since I am home most of the day, your dog will have plenty of attention, companionship, and time to relax. A typical day includes outdoor time in my fenced yard, playtime, walks around the neighborhood, and lots of affection and cuddles. Dogs are welcome to relax inside the home, sit on the furniture, and make themselves comfortable. I like to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and at home. Whether your dog enjoys playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing, I make sure they receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day.

Before your dog stays with me, I like to learn about their personality, routine, and any special needs they may have. Please let me know about feeding schedules, medications, allergies, or behaviors I should be aware of so I can provide the best care possible. Since I host only one dog at a time (or two from the same family), I want to make sure your dog will be comfortable in a home environment. It’s also helpful to know if your dog is house trained, how they do on walks, and if they have any habits or preferences that help them feel more at ease.
