Availability

I currently run my own business from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for pet care. I also have two small rescue dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already a natural part of my everyday routine. Because I’m home much of the day, I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, attention, and plenty of company. I can also be flexible with feeding schedules, medications, and other routines your pet is used to at home.

About Michelle W.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks and playtime, along with two small, friendly dogs of my own. My dogs are crated at bedtime, which also gives visiting pets a chance to settle in and have some quiet time. I understand that not every dog wants to be around other dogs all the time, so I can provide your dog with their own separate space when needed or if that is what they are most comfortable with. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routines as closely as possible. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s routine and will follow the care instructions you provide. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Information Michelle W. would like to know about your pet

I’d love to know about your pet’s normal routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, health concerns, dietary needs, anxiety, or behavioral concerns I should be aware of. For dogs staying in my home, it’s also important for me to know how they do with other dogs, whether they have any history of aggression or resource guarding, and if there are any situations that tend to make them nervous or uncomfortable.

A typical day

Depending on your pet’s personality and energy level, activities might include walks, playing with their favorite toys, supervised playtime in my fenced yard, games of fetch, or just hanging out and getting plenty of pets and cuddles. I’m also happy to keep up with activities and routines your pet already enjoys. For senior or lower-energy pets, I’m just as happy to provide a quieter day with gentle activity, companionship, and plenty of time to relax.

Pet care experience

I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, mine or otherwise. I also truly believe pets are family, and I know how important it is to trust the person caring for them when you can’t be there. I have over 20 years of experience caring for pets, including experience with senior dogs and cats who may need a little extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable providing medications and following specific care instructions and routines. I also understand that every animal is different. Some love lots of attention and playtime, some are more independent, and others are happiest just having someone nearby. I take the time to get to know each pet and what helps them feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, routine, and what makes them comfortable. Most importantly, I want them to feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

Michelle is an absolute wonderful dog sitter and caregiver. I don't think I've ever met anybody who genuinely loves caring for dogs as much as this person. She is always out there playing, watching them, and giving them treats i. Her backyard! Then when is cools down she never misses a walk around the neighborhood to give them plenty of exercise. I highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for a responsible dog caregiver/sitter. She look really good care of our dogs when they were alive and they absolutely loved her! Please don't hesitate and choose Michelle, its a no-brainer!
