"Safe, snug, and tail-waggin’ happy—just how it should be!" Whether I’m stopping by for a quick drop-in, taking your pup for a sniff-tastic walk, or keeping the home fires burning during a house sit, I treat every pet and space with the same care I’d want for my own. 🔒 Trust & Safety First: I always follow your pet’s specific routine and comfort needs—feeding, meds, potty breaks, you name it. I'm mindful of home security (locking doors, checking gates, and making sure your furry escape artist stays safely indoors). Walks are done with leashes clipped, harnesses checked, and eyes on the prize—aka your pup! 🏡 In Your Home: I respect your space like a guest and keep things tidy, calm, and low-stress. I keep you updated with photos and messages so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. 🐾 During Drop-Ins & Walks: I make every visit count with belly rubs, playtime, and potty breaks tailored to your pet’s energy and needs. Rain or shine (okay… maybe light drizzle), I show up with a smile and a poop bag. Your pets are family—and I care for them like they’re part of mine.

To give your pets the best care possible, here’s what’s most helpful to know upfront: 🐕🦺 Any medical needs, medications, or allergies 🐾 Feeding routines and treat preferences 🐈⬛ Comfort items or habits (Do they love to chase string? Hate the vacuum?) 🚪 House rules (Are paws allowed on the couch? Should the litter box be scooped a special way?) 🐶 Reactions to other pets, people, or certain sounds on walks The more I know, the smoother the care—so feel free to share all the quirks, habits, and hidden talents your pet has!

A Typical Day with Me? Tail-wagging and whisker-twitching fun!" Every visit is customized to your pet’s personality—whether they’re an energetic fetch fanatic or a couch snuggler extraordinaire. A typical day might include: For dogs: strolls full of sniffs, playtime in the yard or living room, and maybe a game of tug or treat puzzle time for a little mental stimulation. For cats: gentle play with toys, sunny window naps, brushing (if they’re into it), and plenty of calm company or lap time if they’re feeling social. Above all, I make sure your pets are safe, loved, and having a pawsome time—whether it's for 30 minutes or a full house sit.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up surrounded by furry friends and currently live in a multi-animal household (yes, that includes the occasional game of 'cat vs. dog: who wins the couch?'). I also volunteered for a year at the Longmont Humane Society, gaining hands-on experience with pups of all personalities. Whether it’s a walk, a belly rub, or just some quality time, I’m the go-to pet pal for my friends and family—and I’d love to be that for you too. You can count on me for reliable, compassionate care (and maybe a few extra treats—don’t tell your dog)."

Reviews

Michelle did a fantastic job house sitting for our big dog. They got along really well and Frito received plenty of exercise and cuddles. She never left him alone for more than a few hours and I know our dog really appreciated that. She was dependable, responsible, and very kind. We’ll certainly be contacting her again for future sits.

We hired Michelle to watch our house (two cats, one dog) for a long weekend. We would like to begin by saying Michelle was communicative initially and made us feel confident that she was equipped to handle our reactive dog (which she seemed to do). She made the two cats comfortable and, all three of our pets enjoyed being around her. That said, we did encounter some challenges during her stay. We requested (verbally and in written instructions twice) that our medium-high energy cattle dog receive two, 30 min walks every day and a before bed potty break. As far as we can tell, she only received two short walks or potty breaks each day, and had to go long periods of time (12 - 14 hours) without peeing. This continued even after we reminded her the first full day the dog needed several potty breaks daily. Frequency was also stated in our booking request, verbally when we met, and in a Google doc with detailed instructions. Michelle initially said she would be around nearly all day each day, excepting the final day which was fine with us. Instead, we saw on our Ring doorbell her leaving for upwards of 10 hours each day. There was lack of communication around this. We were initiating most communication during her stay- admittedly we always feel a bit nervous the first day or two we’re gone. Because we weren’t getting what we felt was important communication, we relied on Ring doorbell footage for what was going on. Finally, our house was not left in the state we left it in. It was by no means trashed, but there was stuff like dirty silverware left in the kitchen sink, hair throughout the bathroom, and makeup dried in our bathroom sink. We hope she considers these items in the future as she sits for other families.

Michelle was AMAZING! Super communicative and took great care of my pup while I was out of town. I will absolutely be booking with her again if I end up needing to use Rover in the future!

I appreciate the good care you gave my animals, and thanks so much, being last minute. You arrived a bit late initially, and left my animals for nearly 11 hours the next day, I would have liked better communication. I feel your other obligations took away from the quality of this dog sit.
