I have been a dog owner for over 2 decades. I currently own a chug, and she is the love of my life. I get so much joy taking her out for walks, playing with her, and giving her plenty of attention. She LOVES other dogs and would appreciate playmates while I have summers off. I am able to provide impeccable care and attention for anyone’s precious cargo over the summer months. While my chug would like a playmate, I enjoy being active outside and would love to walk or run with high energy dogs. I also like to trail run and hike, and would enjoy a companion since my little one is too small to take with me on long runs and walks. My schedule for dog waking and sitting is flexible over the summer months. From fall through spring, I am able to continue dog walks anytime after 3:00pm during the weekdays. I am also available for dog walks and sittings on the weekends. COVID-19 Update: For a COVID-19 preparedness plan, I will only be accepting dog walk requests until all stay-at-home restrictions are lifted. When I take dogs on walks this late spring/summer, I will 1. Call the dog owner before I arrive to have the dog leashed ahead of time. 2. I will arrive with a mask and new set of gloves on. 3.The owner will either leave the dog leashed in the garage for me to enter and take on walks, leashed in a fenced yard, or the dog will be handed off to me leashed from outside. I will refrain from entering homes and will stay 6 feet from the owner. 4. When I am on walks, as usual, I will avoid walking next to other people and animals, and will not allow other individuals to pet your dog to ensure the safety of your pet. 5. I will do a similar exchange after the walk by opening the door and letting the dog in the home without me entering, or putting the dog in the garage or fenced yard. 6. If I conduct multiple walks in a day, I will make sure I always have a new set of gloves on for each walk. The wellbeing of your family and pets are my top priority during this unprecedented time~
