Information Michelle & Sheila I. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - What’s your preferred method of communication? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

I lead a very active life, so your pup will be right at home with me if they like to get lots of exercise! I live in a great community with tons of places to explore. From parks to walking trails to points of interest, we’ll always have new adventures on the menu every day! I also live one block away from a fenced dog park, so we can definitely go meet some new friends along the way as well. No matter what, your pup will be right alongside me every step of the way!

Pet care experience

Caring for dogs has always been a huge passion of mine. There’s nothing like the love and happiness pups bring into our lives, and I feel that it’s my duty to give back to them however possible! From working for and even owning a pet rescue to dog sitting and beyond, I’ve tried to do whatever I can to bring happiness to dogs. I love bringing a smile to a dog’s face by making sure they have everything they need to thrive, and it’s just great to give owners peace of mind as well. One of the best things about me as a sitter is that I am available full-time! That means that your pup and I will spend tons of time together when they’re under my care. No one likes to crate their dog up for hours on end while they’re away, so your pooch will enjoy tons of freedom! It also makes me a great option for dogs that are used to having a human presence around them, or for ones that would enjoy that! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I pride myself on a sense of professionalism when your pup is under my wing, and believe that all begins with excellent communication. I like to get as much info as I can about you and your pooch even before the stay begins! That way, I can get a good picture of your care expectations and what makes your pup happy. During the stay, I’ll send detailed daily updates, with notes on anything you need to be kept in the loop on, from meal prep to exercise times. And of course, those will always include accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun we’re having together!

Very nice experience. Our dog was well cared for and they were very communicative. Numerous pictures and immediate feedback were provided which are positive attributes when you leave your loved one with a sitter for the first time. We were able to visit with friends and enjoy the afternoon knowing our Finn was well cared for, thanks so much again!

Always very accommodating. My boy gets very excited when I tell him where he is going. Michelle takes very good care of him. I won't use another sitter because she does such a great job 👍
