I currently work in Stillwater, but my partner is retired. It's rare that someone's not around with the pups. We have dog-door options as well that can either lead out to the back yard when we are home or to a secure "pen" when we are not home, but that allows them to get some fresh air and still be contained and have safe access back inside the house. The dog-door is only utilized with pups that we get frequently and that I know for certain they are comfortable with the dog-door.

We have a LARGE fully fenced yard for the pups to hang out, chase each other, hunt squirrels, or just sniff around. It's a 6' chain link fence that keeps them contained. When in the house with us, they have full access to the whole house. They hang out with us for morning coffee and with whatever we're doing around the house or yard.

We like to have an idea what your dog's likes and dislikes are. Is the dog afraid of thunderstorms? Does he/she try to escape? Is he/she food, toy, treat, or bed aggressive? Is he/she sensitive to loud voices? Does he/she like to run, swim, fetch, lay around? Is your pup food motivated?
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks When we walk the pups, we head down our long gravel driveway and down the country roads. When we are home, we like to spend time in the yard and the dogs will hang out with us when we are outside. We also throw the frisbee or balls in the back yard for a little more exercise and fun. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Visiting dogs sleep on any number of dog beds or the couch on the main floor of the house. If there are not any incontinence issues, or other behavior issues (i.e. chewing) the dogs are free to roam about the house and sleep wherever they want.

We have been trusted hosts with Rover/Dogvacay for years and have loved the opportunity to love and care for all kinds of different pups. We have several "doggie-cams" to be able to monitor the pups activities while we are away. We are able to view, listen, and even talk to them through the monitors. We have found it to be an incredibly useful resource to soothe not only our worries, but also the dog owners. We have a very large, secure, fenced yard with lots of room to romp around or just relax on the deck or in the shade under any number of shade trees. It's a very park-like atmosphere for them to chase squirrels, roam around, help me find sticks, etc. We have had dogs all our lives and are very comfortable with all kinds and breeds of dogs. Bossy dog? No problem! Shy and quiet dog? No problem! Old dog with some special needs? No problem! We love and care for all kinds of dogs! About this sitter: I love all the different personalities of the pups we watch - they get all the love and attention they can stand. Why I love dog sitting We have had dogs all of our lives. All of our dogs have come from rescue groups. We frequently take care of dogs for friends and family - all sizes, shapes, and breeds. We love them all! Meet my pets Our pup absolutely LOVES the company of other dogs. She will play when they want to play or just chill in the shade or on the deck or on one of the many dog beds in the house. About my yard We have a large back yard that is completely secure with 6' fence. The dogs love sniffing around, laying under shade tree, sunning themselves on the deck, or just following us around the yard being great "helpers".
