Experienced dog sitter and pet lover
Hi, I’m Michelle! A huge animal lover, herbal tea drinker and lover of books. Through house and pet sitting all over the UK in the last two years, I've gained skills, knowledge and experience with many different canine breeds along with caring for a wide range of pet species. I’ve also lived on a dairy farm for 18 months during which I helped take care of the farm dogs and have volunteered in a cattery. Current commitments mean I am unable to have pets so Rover is a great opportunity to spend time with animals. I am ready to be cuddled, throw balls or to get muddy and would add that I am flexible, professional and understand the challenges behind caring for someone else's pets. The car is dog-friendly!

Great communication prior to and during our boys stay with her. Michelle is very kind, has a good way with dogs and was very understanding of my boys health issues (and general personality quirks!). Billy loved spending the day with Michelle, took him for a really good walk and tired him out which was very impressive for my German shepherd! Absolutely wonderful definitely hoping to book again xx
Michelle looked after our three dogs when we went on holiday a year ago. She arrived the night before we went and had dinner with the whole family - she is just lovely! She sent me regular pictures and updates on the dogs whilst we were away and she loved them as if they were her own. We would have her back again like a shot - would strongly recommend :)
Michelle came to my house to stay and look after my dog Luna whilst I went away. This was my first time using Rover so I did feel a little anxious especially about someone staying in my home and looking after my dog. But me and Michelle spoke on the phone and instantly I took a liking to her and knew I could trust her in my home and with Luna. Me and Michelle kept in contact the whole time I was away, she sent me updates and pictures of the adventures they went on. I came home to a lovely clean home and a happy dog. I would 100% recommend Michelle and I'd definitely use her again.

Schedule
During the week days I work remotely for a children’s charity so will always be around to keep your pet company and dote on them.

Safety, trust & environment
Working from home means there is plenty of time for interaction and your dog will not feel alone. I also have a fenced garden for them to sniff around and play in.
A typical day
I am located in Ruthin, with plenty of dog friendly walks nearby. Each day I like to get out and walk for at least an hour. I would love the companionship of a furry friend on any daily activity, on or off the lead. I am also a keen runner so just let me know if your dog would enjoy a good run. There is also time to play games and explore the local area.
