Crazy dog lady for your furbabies!
Librarian dog mom here! I have a huge love of all animals. I have had dogs off and on most of my life. The longest, however was with my soul dog, Wrinkles. He was adopted from a puppy mill around 2-4 months old and I raised him until he passed away from cancer in November of 2020. I now am co-parent to a rambunctious puppy I adopted in February of 2021 (who lives with grandpa), named Freckles. I am also co-parent to a sweet boy who is around 7-8 years old, that belongs to my partner and is named Max (or his official name of Sir Maximillian of the Beef and Bacon Foots). In February of 2025 we adopted our little mali-gator Beatrix "Goo Goo Muck". Bertie for short. She's something else. She is a year and some change old now and growing like a weed!

Safety, trust & environment
Because my partner's dog is reactionary, I cannot host your furbabies at my place. However, I am available to house-sit for a few hours or overnights. Not only does it work best for me, I think it is best to keep your pet in their own home and maintain their own routine.

Michelle was awesome! We had to extend our days away and she was so easy to work with and our 2 dogs were very content with her. The house was in order and we will definitely was Michelle on our next trip!
Michelle is kind, thoughtful, and shows great care with our animals. Her approach is thoughtful and she communicates clearly while our pups are with her. Michelle’s love of animals shows in her interactions, and sometimes I think our dogs are happier to see her than they are us! I highly recommend Michelle to my friends and neighbors, and I’m confident she’ll do a great job every time.
Michelle is the only one we trust with our fur babies! She is reliable, trustworthy, honest, helpful and -- most importantly -- loves our fur babies like they're her own. I can't express the peace of mind that we have leaving home knowing that Michelle will be there to take care of, and love on, our fur kids. We've boarded them in the past and that's always such a stressful (and expensive) option for everyone involved. Being able to leave them home with Michelle watching over them is such a relief. I can't recommend Michelle enough! You won't regret hiring her or trusting her with your babies. She is the BEST.
Michelle is a long-time family friend, who has many years of experience with large dogs, small dogs, and cats. When I have to leave town for work or vacation and need a dog and cat sitter, I ask Michelle first. She has a way with animals, and even quickly befriended my shiest cat, Leonard, who is known to be a scaredy kitty. My fur babies and I trust Michelle and highly recommend her pet caregiving services to all.

Schedule
I am a librarian/ archivist/information specialist but due to current health I have taken a sabbatical from work. I have a huge love of animals. I would absolutely love nothing more than to spend my free time, not only petting and playing with precious animals, but helping someone out by being able to leave their furbaby with someone trustworthy, reliable, and not out to break your wallet. I would love to schedule a time with you to come for a meet and greet and get to know your furbaby a little prior to the first housesitting or drop-in visit.
