I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and in recent years, cats too, including one we found as an orphaned kitten, just a few weeks old, hiding in our backyard bushes. Nursing him through those fragile first months taught me a lot about patience, close observation, and gentle care, all things I bring to every pet I look after. By background, I’m a people nurse, so I’m comfortable with medications, mobility issues, senior pets, or anything unexpected that comes up. These days I’m an at-home mom and entrepreneur, which means I have flexibility during the day and evenings.
