I like big mutts and I cannot lie!
There hasn't been a day in my life that I haven't had a furry friend! My animals seem to live a very long time and I can only think it's because they are spoiled and well cared for. I have experience with puppies to seniors. For cats, I have fostered for the Moore County Humane Society, mostly kittens, generally special needs, that need a lot of time and bottle feeding to make them healthy again. Currently we have two rescue dogs, a senior Border Collie mix and an adolescent miniature Newfie(no such thing, but that is what he looks like). When not taking care of animals and children, I am often substitute teaching, gardening, walking or camping. I am a wife and mother, that stays home, except for some occasional substitute teaching. During the week from 11 to 2:45 I am available. Allowing someone into your home is a big deal. I will respect your home and privacy, as well as take good care of your furry friends! I am vaccinated for COVID-19 and will gladly wear a mask when in your home or interacting with you.

Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Primrose! From the first meet-and-greet she took the time to learn all of Prim’s little habits and quirks, which instantly put me at ease. While I was away she sent thoughtful updates and the sweetest photos, so I never had to wonder how Prim was doing. I could tell she gave Primrose extra love and attention—exactly what I’d hoped for. It’s clear Michelle treats every pet like her own, and that care really shines through. I came home to a calm, happy kitty and a spotless space. I can’t recommend Michelle highly enough for anyone looking for a truly caring sitter.
Michelle was wonderful! She went above and beyond to take care of our two senior dogs while we went on vacation. Not only was she reliable and followed care instructions, but she noticed that our dog with skin allergies needed some special attention and took the initiative to ask what his skin treatment was and was willing to apply his topical medication. Additionally, we needed a last minute visit (barking dog was rightfully driving our poor neighbors up the wall) and she was there quickly and very understanding! It was so nice to be able to take a vacation without worrying if our dogs were okay! Thank you for everything Michelle! We appreciate you so much!
