Availability
I work full time but at home. If boarding in my home I can accommodate your pet as if they were my own. If you are only needing a drop in, I am available to do that on my lunch break and anytime after 3pm through the week and then anytime on the weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and two pet savvy kids (13 and 10). We have 3 Boston terriers and 2 dog-friendly cats. I do not allow my personal dogs to co-mingle with boarding dogs until proper introductions have been completed and only small brief interactions will occur until it is certain that everyone will play nice. If the interactions do not go well my personal dogs will be kept separate. I crate my personal dogs at night only. My boarders are crated at night too, unless there is a medical need to not be crated. If I am caring for a pet in a clients home I try to abide by the pets schedule as close as possible. Change is hard and I totally understand that.

Information Michelle P. would like to know about your pet
It’s so important to know if a pet has any special needs or has any behavioral issues. I require the pets veterinary information and proof of vaccinations for the safety of your pet and all other pets thy I work with.
A typical day
I try and keep my boarders on a routine. I will either play ball in my yard or go for a walk around my neighborhood to release energy. At a clients home I will do our best to meet the need of each individual pet.

Pet care experience
Hi there! I have a degree in wildlife biology and animal sciences. I was raised on a small farm and have experience caring for dogs, cats and horses in all phases of life. I spent some time working as a veterinary assistant and have experience giving medicine and caring for senior pets. I have experience with pocket pets, reptiles, aquatic pets, all breeds of dogs and cats and horses. I work with w certified dog trainer regularly and have experienced with potty training and working with puppies. I use positive reinforcement techniques. I work from home for a national company and am able to accommodate special-need and puppy potty schedules. I also have three Boston Terriers all of whom are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and spoiled rotten. I would love to be considered to spoil your critter too 🥰.
Reviews

She has now watched our girls several times, and every time she treats them like they were her own. I feel complete peace when I’m out of town, knowing my girls are in excellent hands. She not only lets them out, but spends actual time with them and caters to each of their needs. She brings a ball to play ball with my more feisty one and sits on the couch to lounge with my 14-year-old gentle Ridgeback giving her the gentle love she needs. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to have complete peace of mind when they are out of town.

Michelle is the best. She does everything I want and you can see she likes my fur baby! I always choose her to take care of Azul.

Michelle did everything we asked her too, and happily! She was so helpful and fluid with everything. She took care of ALL of our babies (flowers, guinea pig, and cat) for almost a full week. I will be recommending her to anyone and everyone. She was amazing, very personable, sweet and extremely kind.

Michelle is awesome. She was very kind and thorough with making sure to accommodate my pups. I have one slightly skiddish pup who warmed up to Michele within a couple of days which in my book is a sign of her understanding of individual pup needs. I felt completely at ease with her watching my loves. Will def use her again in the future.
