Availability
Caring for pets is my full-time job. I walk dogs and visit dogs and cats. I may be away from home for up to 4 hours (usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Otherwise, I am home hanging out with dogs while they play and rest. Drop off and pick up time windows will need to be small. After you book, we can plan a half-hour window.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard for play time. I can crate if needed. A typical day begins with potty time, breakfast, and morning play. Afternoons include about an hour of play time in the yard, followed by an afternoon rest. In the evening, it's dinner time, and then another hour of outside time to play, sniff, and explore. During inclement weather, we have potty breaks and all play time happens inside.

Information Michelle P. would like to know about your pet
All breeds are welcome. Please let me know of any special diet restrictions, medical concerns, behavioral issues, skin care needs, personality quirks, what your dog loves and what he/she dislikes.
A typical day
There is often a variety of dogs staying with me. I will make sure your dog plays with other dogs they're compatible with. Play and interaction with other dogs is the most enriching, engaging, and physically intensive activity a dog can do, in my opinion. In the summer months, we have fun with sprinklers and kiddie pools.

Pet care experience
I have rescued and cared for cats and dogs my whole life. I was the kid always finding animals in need and bringing them home with me. That has continued into my adult life and I have also worked to reunite lost pets with their families. I am good at giving pets meds and have done this for my friends' pets as needed. Up until 2020, I had been working with adults with disabilities for 30 years, for the same agency. I was laid off due to Covid and I want to continue to help people and now help their pets too. This is my job. Other than walking and visiting pets, or running errands, I am home or close to it most of the time. I can be flexible and available at a moment's notice. Weekdays, weeknights, and weekends are open. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup occupied with playing and lounging. I can crate, if needed. I have a two story home and, if needed, your dog can have the upstairs for him/herself. It is completely separate from the rest of the home. My husband, Don, also loves dogs and is available to love and cuddle them too.
