I currently have two yellow labs, I've never met a dog I didnt love and who didnt love me! My take is simple, your dogs will be my grand children. They will be loved and spoiled and taught manners with patience and care. We will play fetch, chase butterflies, and cuddle. Kisses are accepted and encouraged. I have never NOT had a dog as an adult and have always trained myself. My dogs are well mannered, do not jump up on people ( that's important for large dogs) and find myself with time on my hands. I make my own dog cookies and use only fresh ingredients like apples and carrots. My home is large and dog proofed, because a little hair never killed anyone.
