I am working full-time position from home and am looking to use my time in the evenings and weekends to help other pets get their exercise and gain enrichment. I walk my own dogs during my lunch break on the weekdays and take them for longer walks to the creek on the weekends.

For Dog Walking Services in the client's home: Meet and Greet: Before any service begins, I like to schedule a meet and greet with the client and their pet(s). This helps me get to know the pet's personality, any specific needs or quirks they have, and allows the client to feel comfortable with me. Leash Walks: During the scheduled walk, I ensure that the dog gets the exercise they need. Walks are tailored to the dog's energy level and physical abilities. I always carry waste disposal bags to clean up after the dog. Fresh Water and Treats: I make sure to provide fresh water for the dog after the walk, and if allowed by the client, I may offer treats as a reward for good behavior. Safety and Supervision: While in my care, safety is paramount. I keep a watchful eye on the dog, ensuring they stay on a leash and away from potential hazards. For Pet Sitting Services in the client's home: Daily Visits: I visit the client's home as many times as required to ensure the pet's comfort. This typically includes feeding, changing water, and providing companionship. Medication Administration: If the pet requires medication, I follow the client's instructions precisely, ensuring the pet receives their medication on time. Playtime and Exercise: I engage in playtime activities with the pet to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. This could involve playing fetch, puzzle toys, or just some cuddle time. Regular Updates: I keep the client informed by sending updates and photos of their pet, giving them peace of mind while they're away.

When it comes to fun activities with the dogs I watch, I believe in tailoring each experience to the individual dog's personality, energy level, and preferences. Here are some activities I enjoy doing with the dogs, along with special places I like to go on walks: Fun Activities: Interactive Play: I love engaging dogs in interactive play sessions. This may include playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek, depending on what the dog enjoys. Scenic Nature Walks: Exploring nature together can be a rewarding experience for dogs and me. I often take dogs on scenic nature walks where they can sniff, explore, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the outdoors. Treat Puzzle Toys: For mentally stimulating fun, I may bring treat puzzle toys to challenge the dog's problem-solving skills and keep their minds active. Socializing with Other Dogs: If the dog is sociable and gets along well with others, I arrange playdates with other dogs to provide social interaction and exercise. Training and Obedience: For dogs that enjoy learning, I incorporate short training sessions into our walks. This helps reinforce obedience commands and mental engagement. Special Places for Walks: Local Parks: I often visit local parks with well-maintained trails and open spaces where dogs can roam and explore safely. Dog-Friendly Beaches: If the client's dog enjoys the water, I may take them to dog-friendly beaches for some sandy playtime and swimming. Scenic Hiking Trails: For more adventurous dogs, I explore scenic hiking trails where they can experience new sights, smells, and challenges. Quiet Neighborhoods: Sometimes, a peaceful walk in a quiet neighborhood is just what a dog needs for a relaxing outing. Dog Parks: If the dog is social and enjoys the company of other dogs, I visit local dog parks where they can run and play with their furry friends. Pet-Friendly Events: Depending on the season, I keep an eye out for pet-friendly events, such as dog festivals or farmer's markets, which can provide a unique and stimulating experience. Ultimately, my aim is to provide dogs with a variety of engaging and enjoyable experiences during our walks. I pay close attention to their cues and preferences, ensuring that each outing is not only fun but also safe and tailored to their needs. My goal is to make each walk an adventure that both the dog and I look forward to.
