Empty-nest dog mom at your service!
I've had dogs most of my life and loved dogs my entire life. My last dog passed away last year and I'm not ready for my next but I sure do miss having dogs in my house, so let me shower yours with love and attention while you're away. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard in a lovely walkable neighborhood with walking trails all around me. I had a cockapoo, boxer/ridgeback mix and most recently 2 dachshunds. I also am a regular foster and have hosted everything from poodles to pitties at my house. I do have a soft spot for the seniors as my last doxie had back issues at 15y/o and needed lots of extra help so I understand that stage of life and am so awed by their sweet and stoic nature as they age. I'm working from home these days so I'm home a LOT! I understand all dogs are unique and would love to chat with you about whether my house and I are a good fit for your pup(s).

This was our second time having Bleu with Michelle and Dan and as expected, they were simply amazing. They kept us updated with pictures and videos of our boy throughout our trip and he looked happy in all the pictures and videos. We continue to highly recommend them and will continue to have them sit Bleu for us!
We were very happy with Michelle. When we dropped off our dog, I was nervous and sad, but she was so calm and positive that it made me feel so much better about leaving him with her. She sent lots of pictures and video during our time away, and our dog seemed very happy and engaged. Would definitely use her again the next time we are traveling and need someone to watch over our dog.
Our two senior dogs, ages 13 and 15 have special needs. This will be our third time having Michelle and Dan watch over them as we traveled and the experience has been fantastic! We wanted to take a trip, but were concerned about leaving our 13 and 15 year old dogs with someone unfamiliar. They have arthritis, one is on several medications, has separation anxiety and both are shy, nervous dogs. Michelle mentioned in her profile that she has a fondness for senior dogs and we decided it would be a good match. We were beyond delighted with the amazing care Michelle and Dan provided our special girls. Michelle stayed in contact several times a day with photos, videos and summaries of their days together. Our dogs were so fond of them, it looked like they didn't want to come home when we came to pick them up. They were too busy kissing Michelle and Dan! 😄 Needless to say, we highly recommend them. They treated our dogs like one of their own and we're certainly going to have them watch our girls again. Thank you so much Michelle and Dan! 💜 🥰

Schedule
I am home a lot now and able to walk, feed and play with your pups throughout the day and when I'm home on weekends I love to be outdoors walking or in my backyard and my dogs tended to be a part of all I did on the weekends! I do travel on occasion to see family but I keep my calendar up to date as much as possible so you can look ahead for bookings.

Safety, trust & environment
My backyard is fully fenced with a big grassy lawn so your dog can play safely outside and take quick potty breaks between walks. We are home a lot so the pups tend to join us from room to room. I encourage per parents to bring us toys and beds and anything that makes the pups relaxed and at home.
Pets
A typical day
I generally walk dogs 2x per day and often do a big long trail walk (about 1 hour/ 3.5 miles if your dog is up for that. We can adapt to any feeding sked as needed. We don't have dogs sleep in bed with us but are happy to have them sleep in the bedroom with us in a bed or a crate as needed.
