Michelle did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Claudina. We were really nervous about leaving Claudina because she gets really upset when we go on trips without her, but Michelle made her feel very comfortable. Michelle sent us plenty of updates/videos/pictures, and we were very glad to see that Claudina was having a great time. Michelle also followed our care instructions very well. If you need someone to watch your pet, don’t hesitate to reach out to Michelle!

Michelle was amazing with our 8 month old puppy :) She sent frequent photos and videos of our dog Scout going for walks, having playdates, going to the dog park and even had a doggie pool in her yard - and she was only there for 2 days! She paid special attention to her diet and contacted us to ask if she could cook for her. Our puppy is super nervous but was so comfortable and relaxedwith her- she even went on a car ride to industry city to play. Our pup had just as good a getaway as we did and i would hesistate to use her services again!
Michelle really went above and beyond for my Rupe! He is so happy going to the dog park and playing in her open space, and it’s nice he has her and her parents to hang with when he is there. The picture updates are amazing to get and you can see him being very happy! 10/10 Would recommend!

Schedule
I am a school-based occupational therapist by day and a full-time cat mom on the side. I am off during summers so trust that your fur-babies will be fully attended to! When I am at work, my schedule follows a traditional school schedule — so M-F 8-3pm. My boyfriend is a medical student who is usually home a lot. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and I’ve taken care of pets since I was 8 years old. Throughout my childhood I have had pets ranging from reptiles, to fish, to hamsters, and I also grew up surrounded by family member’s dogs! I have volunteered as a dog walker at Sean Casey Animal Rescue and socialized/walked dogs during my free time. I also had the greatest time working at Paws in Paradise, a Doggy Daycare Center in Park Slope, caring after dogs from a variety of breeds and ages! I had my own dog when I was 8 years old and she was my best friend, raising her when she was just a puppy up until 12 years old. I learned the most about unconditional love and companionship from her and it was the best moments in my life raising her. Now I have 2 cats who have been exposed to other pets since the day I adopted them.

Safety, trust & environment
Both my boyfriend and I have experience with pets and we both take part in caring for the furbabies in our home. We have a large rooftop and we also live fairly close to Prospect Park. We have a car, so we would be able to drive to our nearest dog park (Kensington), so with permission I would love to take your pet there as well! I can assure you that your pet will receive all the cuddles and care they need with me. I’ve looked after dogs of family members and friends and I will always send them pictures and videos to update them throughout the day — so I can assure you I will do the same for you! I have more experience with small and medium sized dogs, but I have handled big dogs before. I have experience cat-sitting and allow them to roam around my house freely with a designated room for their litter box.

A typical day
I will provide all my attention and love for your pet! As a previous dog owner I really do miss the joy of having a dog around the house so I will ensure that your pet gets an adequate amount of physical activity (in our big backyard!) and lots of fetches and belly rubs! In addition, I would also love to travel with your pet beside me if I go out for errands or walks around Brooklyn (only if you are okay with it!). If your pup is young I would also teach them tricks!
