With 17 years of experience caring for senior dogs and pups who need a little extra support, I offer attentive, compassionate boarding for dogs who would benefit from being the only other pup in a calm, steady environment. I’m confident administering medications and have a long history supporting senior dogs and helping rehabilitate rescue pups. I live in a quiet first‑floor apartment chosen with senior joints in mind, with plenty of nearby green spaces for slow, comfortable walks. Your dog will share the space with my gentle 14‑year‑old chihuahua, Shelby, a former Austin Pets Alive! rescue and heartworm survivor who enjoys meeting respectful new friends. My background includes running my own dog‑walking and house‑sitting service, and I bring steady care and professionalism to every booking.

Michelle was amazing!!! This is the first time that I have ever hired a pet sitter and was kind of nervous. Michelle communicated so well with me and even came over before the drop in visits started to meet us and our kitties. Right when she walked in, our anxious boy greeted her and sniffed her hand and we knew she was the one! Throughout our trip, we received lots of pictures and were reassured that our babies were taken care of. I will definitely trust Michelle to care for my pets again.
Our toothless dog Coco loved Michelle! Michelle communicated with both my wife and I, which made her so happy. She made so many accommodations and was extremely patient with us since our dog is kind of high-need and just came out of a surgery. I don’t feel like Michelle is charging enough for what she did for us watching our Coco.
Michelle is a warm and caring person who takes great care of my senior pup Maddie. Her little chihuahua Shelby is so sweet, gentle and affectionate. I feel very comfortable leaving Maddie here and appreciate the daily updates and photos.
Michelle is such a great sitter! Our anxious little man found her energy calming. Within 24hrs she was able to get a leash on him so he could go for a walk which for our pup is quite the feat. She was very detail oriented, attentive to his needs, and a great communicator which made us feel very comfortable during our time away. Her cute calm pup named Shelby helped our dog, Remy, settle in quickly as well. We can't recommend Michelle enough!

Michelle and her sweet pup, Shelby, provided an amazing stay for my dog while I was traveling. Just as her profile describes, Michelle’s home is cozy, welcoming, and full of care. Even though it was our first time boarding with her, my dog felt comfortable and happy right away. Michelle was incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about dogs. She even offered a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure my pup felt at ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I live in a centrally located, easily accessible gated apartment complex. Your pup would join Shelby and me on relaxed morning and evening walks along the trees and green spaces nearby. Indoors, we have comfy, Shelby‑approved beds in every room, along with hard floors and washable rugs for the occasional senior moment. I keep a toxin‑free home, using simple, pet‑safe products throughout the space. Dogs can also enjoy fresh air on the fully enclosed porch, which is a safe, quiet spot for gentle outdoor time.
