Hi there! My name is Michelle and Ive been a pet owner since I was a child. My family always had dogs, cats, pocket pets, and the occasional tarantula. Im the niece of a large animal veterinarian whose clinic I volunteered at after school and summers. Currently my husband and I are owned by a Labrador Retriever and an English Setter. We are active with a national English Setter rescue, which is where our beautiful boy came from, and run volunteer transports of dogs on their way to foster or forever homes. *** Due to personal reasons, for House Sitting bookings I sleep at my own home. I will arrange my arrival and departure times at your home, to whatever your preferences are. I usually arrive around 6am and leave between 9 and 10pm, but thats variable based on your pet's routine.***

Each pet is different. Some are couch potatoes, some want to hike the Alps, but all need mental stimulation and tons of hugs. Playtime, walks, treats and any other interactions you, as the expert on your pet, request of me, are part of the services I offer.

Michelle is wonderful to work with! She always takes such good care of Iris and includes photos with her check-ins. She is easy to get ahold of if I have any questions or concerns. I also had happened to come home earlier than I expected and she modified the booking arrangement so I wouldn’t be charged for that day since I would be home in time to feed Iris. During her visit she was also a huge help with watering and taking care of my mother’s flower garden! She was very pleased with how they were looking upon our return home. I have had Michelle watch Iris in the past and was pleased with her caring for Iris then too. I definitely plan to have Michelle watch Iris again in the future if/when I leave for more trips. :) [Todays date: 07/18/26]
Michelle regularly does check ins and has done a couple overnights for my pup. She arrives on time, takes great care of my dog, communicates, follow instructions, and sends lots of pics. She is incredibly nice and attentive to my pup and also this nervous dog mom lol. I am very selective in who let care for my gentle giant; I trust Michelle completely and know my baby is in amazing hands. She treats my dog like one of her own, his schedule is followed, and he gets to relax at home with lots of love while I am a way. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! We are grateful for her at our house!
Didn’t follow important pet care instructions (dogs indicated not the leave for more than a certain time- and she showed up 9 hours after the start time…and then instead of apologizing- she was rude. I was uncomfortable having her in my home for this visit- and needed to book another sitter to replace.
Michelle watched my two dogs in my home for 18 days while I was out of town, and she truly went above and beyond. I felt completely comfortable having her in my home and caring for my pets for such a long period. Before I left, she even took the time to meet them and spend time with them so everyone felt at ease. During the stay, my female dog was in heat and Michelle handled it effortlessly. When my flight was delayed to a later time, she stopped by in the evening after work without hesitation, and I came home to a clean house, which was such a relief after a long trip. I would absolutely recommend her and look forward to having her back again!
Very communicative, helped me to not feel nervous about leaving my puppy. She sent pictures and updates on my pup when I asked! Highly recommend!
I am very pleased with Michelle’s service. I had reached out last minute and she was more than happy to help watch Iris for me. She was very good at communicating, letting me know Iris was fed and sent pictures as well. Definitely will reach out to her again in the future! :)
