Michelle did great taking care of my complex and elderly cats while I was away

Michelle was amazing with Mochi while I was away! She stayed overnight during my trip and sent lots of pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond by doing little extras like turning on cat TV for Mochi while she was away. When I came home, Mochi was in such a better mood than she has been after other trips, and I could tell she felt comfortable and cared for. I would absolutely book Michelle again!

I booked Michelle to visit my cat 2 times a day while I was out of state. I requested visits at 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. My son was able to visit later in the evening. I prepaid. I had to reach out to Michelle to arrange a meeting time for introductions, care instructions and provide a key to my home. She did not use the Rover app to check in or out of visits. She sent me messages one time a day, sometimes late in the evening. She did clean the litter but left the litter clumps in an open trash bag beside the litter box. I had requested She take the litter out to the dumpster daily, like I do. My son noticed the horrible smell, found the open trash bag of poop and litter clumping, took to the dumpster and febreezed my home repeatedly. It is difficult to ask someone about such care when you are out of state and they have a key to your home. All is well with my Kitty. But she was only seen by Michelle once a day. I did tell her I was flexible with the visitation times, but I did not mean only one visit, one contact a day and leave litter clumps in my home. I contacted Rover support and since sitters are independent contractors Rover said there was nothing they could do. Rover suggested I leave a review. I did not want to leave a bad review but my family felt I should just state the facts so that is what I have done. I have had excellent service from another Sitter in the past but she moved to another state. It is unclear if I will use Rover in the future. I will not use Michelle.

Michelle is a really a true cat whisperer. Our cat was calm and happy at our return. Michelle sent us updates for every visit, she was punctual and vigilant. Michelle is dependable and trustworthy, she gave us full confidence and peace of mind.

Michelle was simply incredible! This was my first time away from my kitten and she took away all my fears! She was responsive, accommodating, and took such good care of little Lonestar ❤️ she also sent me the cutest pictures and he also didn't seem to miss me that much lol! Thank you sooo much Michelle!!
