As a full time pet sitter, I’m able to customize my schedule based on the pets who need care on any given day. I start visits at 7am and can do the later drop ins as late as 9pm if needed. I only serve the City of Olive Branch and the part of Southaven east of I-55, so that I can provide the best care and give every pet the time and attention they deserve without having to worry so much about the drive time to the next visit.

Every drop in visit is fully customizable to your wishes and the needs of your cats. Visits will generally include feeding, washing food and water bowls, litter box scooping, administering meds (including pills and insulin injections), snuggling on the couch, playing with toys (the fishing pole type is my favorite!) and anything else you can come up with. Drop in visits usually take around half an hour, and cats may need one or two visits a day, depending on food and medication schedules. I do require at least one visit per day, both for safety reasons and because many cats are very social members of the family and will experience anxiety if alone for more than 24 hours.

First and foremost, I’d like to point out that I charge a flat rate for unlimited cats, so my total cost for high quality, self-insured, professional pet sitting may be lower than the discount sitters for your multiple cat situation. Check out my bio and let’s do a meet and greet!! I’ve been pet sitting full time in Desoto County since 2011 and have a long list of happy kitty friends with satisfied owners. I'm always happy to adapt to the routines and schedules your cats are accustomed to, and I'm experienced in administering meds and insulin injections. I haven't run into a cat whose company I didn't enjoy, and I’ve even been able to win over some of the super shy bed-hider-unders. My favorite part of cat sitting is when I become besties with a cat that was never expected to be sociable at all! ❤️ Unlike most sitters on Rover, I charge a flat rate which includes all of your pets. There are no additional fees for any reason, ever. This means $25 per visit covers your whole "clutter of cats" (thats one word for it!) 😊 For most multi-cat familes, this makes my rates quite a bargain! iAd a long time pet sitter, I’ve noticed the need for sitters who specialize in cat care. Some sitters focus on dogs and consider the cats an afterthought. Not me!! Since I absolutely adore all the kitties, I decided I’m up for the task of Cat Specialist!! I understand that when you’re away for business or vacations, a cat’s needs for play and snuggling are just as important as feeding and doing a proper deep scooping of the litter box, and I’m willing to spend the time it takes to get to know each of your kitties and fulfill those social needs (as well as the basic care chores). Since I work every day (except for a one week vacation each year), I strive for long term client relationships I aim to be your personal cat sitter who is always available, even for those surprise trips with zero notice. Once we’ve had a meet and greet, you can always count on me when you need someone to drop in on your kitties, even if just to scoop those boxes real quick while you’re having a long day, or just because you simply don’t feel like it! Michelle J. is THE absolute best! I was away for 10 days. I was very anxious about leaving my feline babies with anyone. 3 of them were busy kittens nearing 1 year old this month Michelle eased my anxiety while I was away with awesome pictures and videos of them adjusting and enjoying themselves. On the day thatI returned, 2 of my rival cats ( the kittens' mama and my 1st eldest female cats ) touched noses for the very first time in my presence!! Michelle has a peaceful , loving demeanor that I believe rubbed of on my babies. Hear me when I say, she's the best! 💚
Michelle is one of those quiet heroes we hear about; the kind who gives so much of herself to benefit others. In Michelle's case, her love of animals shines when she goes that extra mile or two, often unasked but always appreciated. I've used Michelle for 4 years, but it seems longer. She is like a member of my family now. I rescue cats, and often they come with aggressive Cattitude and sometimes medical needs. Michelle has never complained or told me she can't do something that I ask. Her willingness to help, no matter what, is what makes her a star in my eyes. Plus it helps that my cats sincerely adore her. I give Michelle a ten star rating for her high quality of work. You won't be sorry you hired her.
Michelle is FANTASTIC with our two dogs! They love her. She always comes when she's scheduled and we don't have to worry about anything when she house-sits. It's wonderful to have someone we can trust take care of our boys in their own environment when we're gone. We would HIGHLY recommend her!
