A typical day
For pets that stay with us, this isn’t a kennel—it’s more like a cozy sleepaway camp! Days follow a relaxed farm-stay rhythm. Mornings start and evenings end with farm chores and meals. Pets can join in the fun of chores or simply enjoy being outside with their new friends. Each day includes two trail walks right from our property, with a stop at the river for exploring and fresh water. The rest of the time is spent lounging in our temperature-controlled home with toys, beds, and supervised play. I only accept a small number of boarders so every pet gets personal attention, love, and photo updates of their stay. No matter the setting, my goal is always the same: consistency, comfort, and care that makes pets feel at home while giving you peace of mind.

As a true animal lover, I’ve owned and cared for everything from horses and dogs to hamsters and snakes—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My goal is to form a meaningful connection with every pet, built on mutual respect and plenty of love. I’ll keep their daily routine intact, from feedings and outings to medications, belly rubs, and training, so they feel just as comfortable under my care as they do under yours. I treat pets like family. If your pet is allowed on the couch or bed, I’m happy to curl up beside them for snuggles. If not, I’ll follow your household rules exactly—it’s all about consistency, comfort, and making sure they feel at home. Communication is one of my strengths. I send regular updates with photos and little stories so you’ll always know how your pet is doing, and I take care to leave your home just as I found it. My clients say that gives them true peace of mind while they’re away. Even if you’re outside my listed travel radius, feel free to reach out! A small gas fee can usually make it possible for me to come to you.

There aren’t sufficient words to describe how grateful we are for finding Michelle - like most, our furbabies are beloved members of the family - like finding a babysitter or nanny, it can be unsettling to entrust the care of your loved ones to a stranger, even more so when they stay in your own home… not only did Michelle spend 2 hours during our meet and greet getting acclimated with our home and the history of each pet but also bonding with all of the furbabies so they were quite familiar with her when she would arrive to sit and we wouldn’t be there for introductions … throughout the time they were under her care she reached out with updates and photos… she was not only responsible for keeping our dogs out of mischief during our absence but also administering medication to our 19 year old cat… it was the 1st time we were away, overnight, from the “kids” and Michelle was a blessing - her care went over and beyond any expectations we might have had - i highly recommend Michelle and cannot give her enough praise or kudos for all that she did
