Pet care fits right into my day like it’s second nature. I make sure to carve out time for walks, feedings, and play so every pet gets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s a quick midday visit or an evening hangout, I keep things easygoing and fun while sticking to their usual routine. Basically, pets and their needs are just part of my everyday vibe.

Safety, trust & environment
I take pet safety and comfort very seriously, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs. In my home, I maintain a clean, secure, and calm environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I ensure all spaces are pet-proofed to prevent accidents, with safe toys and plenty of fresh water and food. When I care for pets in their own home, I respect their familiar surroundings and routines, which helps reduce their stress. I follow any specific instructions closely—from feeding schedules to medication—and keep doors, gates, and windows secure at all times. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to owners to build trust and keep everyone comfortable. No matter where I care for pets, their safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities.

Information Michelle H. would like to know about your pet
To make sure your pup has the best experience, please send me a quick rundown of the following before our visit: • Feeding schedule & diet (including treats or allergies) • Usual walk/play routine & energy level • Any quirks, fears, or behaviors to watch for • Commands they know or are working on • Meds or health needs • House rules (crate, furniture, off-limit areas, etc.) The more I know, the better I can care for them just like you do. Thanks so much!
A typical day
The day starts with a structured morning walk to help burn off that first burst of energy. We explore new scents, practice leash manners, and often include a bit of training along the way to keep their minds sharp. Once home, we hydrate, do a quick paw check, and enjoy a little downtime with a puzzle toy or a chew to relax. Midday, it’s time for interactive play—fetch, tug-of-war, or agility-style activities in the yard or living room (depending on the setup). I tailor each activity to your dog’s specific energy level and personality. For example, some dogs thrive on structured games, while others just want to sprint and zoom! We also include short training bursts throughout the day—basic obedience, fun tricks, or reinforcing commands you already use—so their mental energy is put to good use too. In the afternoon, we head out again for another walk or outdoor time. This second outing helps release any built-up energy and keeps their day balanced and fulfilling. By early evening, after a meal and some gentle cuddle time, they’re usually ready to relax. My goal is always to provide your dog with both the physical activity and mental stimulation they crave, while keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable in their routine.

Pet care experience
⸻ From fluffy pups to feathery hens—and even a turtle or two—I’ve cared for them all! With years of hands-on experience raising dogs, cats, chickens, quail, and turtles, I bring a whole lot of love, know-how, and fun to every pet I watch. No matter the species, they’re in good hands (and likely a few happy wiggles or tail wags too)!

Reviews

Thanks for taking Lily out on a walk. She was a happy girl.

Michelle is so sweet and kind with our dog. She stayed with her while we were overseas. We were not able to get on internet a lot but Michelle comforted our heart knowing our baby is being well taken care of.

My dog Hope adores Michelle and her daughters!

Michelle was great. Very nice and accommodating. She took my last minute request and took on my 3 dogs (2 are puppy’s) for the night.
