Loving & Safe Dog Care in our home
Aloha! My name is Michelle. I'm originally from South Carolina where I owned a small farm and raised every imaginable animal at one time or another. I have over 40 years of experience with dogs, as both a dog owner and former trainer for our local shelter. I am patient, attentive and loving with all breeds and sizes. We have a lovely, safe home in Discovery Harbour, near South Point on the Big Island of Hawaii with a fenced in yard and lots of room to play. Our French Bulldog, Nani, LOVES all other dogs. She is absolutely wonderful with all sizes and has never had a bad episode with any breed. She's very well socialized and loves to play. I can handle medical needs for your dog if needed. Puppies are no problem. We have the facilities to keep a little one safe and happy in a kennel in our living room with us if your dog needs a private space when visiting. Both my husband and I are retired and home all day, so your loved one will be watched at all times. My daughter Rhiannon will provide opportunities for walks if your dog enjoys outings. Michelle and her husband, Wayne, are wonderful ! They have a lot of experience with many kinds of animals. Our mini-golden doodle is very happy playing with their Frenchie (Nani), and has made herself comfortable on Wayne’s lap more than once. M and W are attentive to the dogs’ needs and happy to accommodate us with our schedules and requests. We’ll continue to be repeat customers, whether for a few hours or several days (weeks?).
We’re so grateful that Michelle was able to accommodate a last minute day care booking for us. Our puppy is safe and in great hands with Michelle and bonus points that he comes home tired and happy. Thank you!

Schedule
My husband and I are retired and my adult daughter and her son Charlie assist with watching and caring for our visitors. We have a flexible schedule to ensure your baby is properly cared for while you are away

We have a fully fenced, secure back yard area that is always available for our dogs to freely access. Your dog will be monitored at all times.
Pets
A typical day
We have a large golf course area nearby where dogs are welcome. We walk Nani there often. Your dog is welcome to come along and he/she will be on leash and well monitored.
