IMPORTANT NOTES: - We DO NOT have any pets and only board one client at a time, so your furbaby gets our full attention! Multiple pets from the same household may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please message us to discuss. - If your pet has never stayed with a sitter or is shy, anxious, or fearful, a free meet & greet is required. A short daycare or overnight trial may also be required before longer stays so your pet can get acquainted to us and our place. - Pets needing constant supervision (unable to be left alone without destruction or distress, which hinders our ability to run small errands, get food, or sleep uninterrupted) will incur an additional $50/day constant care fee on top of the regular rate. - Damage fees apply: $20 per potty/vomit accident indoors, plus varying repair/replacement costs for damaged furniture or items. - Our calendar fills quickly! Most bookings happen 4–6 weeks in advance, and holidays get booked months ahead. We recommend securing dates early. Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before your booking in the case you need to book and then change dates later (please read the cancellation policy and understand fees). Thank you! - Rover auto-blocks the last day of a stay, so if you need to drop off on a day and it looks blocked off, message us to see if we may be able to coordinate your drop off on the same day as the pickup of a previous client. Hello from Michelle, Josephine (Michelle's sister), and Mom! We are lifelong animal lovers and have been petsitting on Rover since 2023 (off of Rover for even longer!). We all live together with our tortoise Mr. T in a quiet, smoke-free home (no carpet, vinyl floors) with a big backyard, in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of walk routes and nearby parks. Mom is retired, Michelle works from home full time, and Josephine works from home twice a week, so between the three of us, your pet will always get plenty of undivided attention and at least 1 person to keep them company at all times! We’re experienced with both dogs and cats (also fish, rabbits, birds, reptiles), and we especially love helping shy or anxious pets grow into trusting, affectionate companions. We’ve cared for pets of family, friends, and now many repeat Rover clients, and we've had pets and fosters of our own in the past. Our experience includes: - Administering medications (pills, creams, eye drops) for cats & dogs - Giving subcutaneous fluids to cats - Caring for puppies (4+ months), seniors, and large dogs (80–100+ lbs) - Long stays (3+ weeks) At the heart of it all, we believe in respecting every animal and giving them as much love as possible — their lives are so much shorter than ours. 💕 We pride ourselves in being responsive, patient, and accommodating with most if not all requests.
