Michelle was super helpful in my time of need. My girl Lily was sick for a few weeks before my booking and last minute she ended up getting worse. She was very accommodating to all my crazy helicopter mom needs and all of Lily's changing medical needs. Michelle went above and beyond the call of duty by agreeing to come meet Lil a few days before the booking to go over the endless details of her evolving care. I got regular updates and pictures while she stayed at my place taking care of my baby.

I booked Michelle to sit with my dog for 4 hours after he had ingested a grape earlier in the day just as a safety precaution. Over message she seemed incredibly communicative leading me to forgo meeting her and just leaving my keys with my desk, since she had such high reviews I assumed she could be trusted. While I was gone, she sent multiple updates and informed me she was about to leave, asking where to leave the keys. I expected to arrive home to an empty apartment this night. When I arrived home there was a screaming child in my apartment, a stranger, and Michelle under my covers asleep. Her friend said she had been trying to wake her, leading me to think the worst. Not that it changes anything but I had asked for my bedroom door to be shut since there are things my dog could have eaten. The three of them then take off running out of my apartment with no explanation, my dog running after them thinking it was a game. My apartment was covered in dog pee and poop meaning that between the three of them no one took out my dog or even cared to clean up after him. I called the Rover helpline and non emergency police this night to report the incident, both think that it might have been a squatting situation. Michelle made no effort to reach back out to me the next day until I ultimately texted her first at 4pm. She immediately lied saying that she got tired and asked her roommate to come over at the end of her stay. My building concierge showed me footage of the two other people sneaking in behind her in the elevator when she initially arrived. Ultimately just thankful my dog is okay and nothing was stolen that I can tell so far.

Michelle did a very good job with my cats, she was very attentive to them and sent me frequent updates on how they were doing. I would definitely recommend her if anyone needs a pet sitter
