I can spend days and/or evenings with your pet. I can do dog walks, drop ins, boarding and overnight stays in your home. I bring my senior dog with me while dog sitting. She gets along great with other dogs and sleeps most of the day. She gets up for outdoor breaks or when she wants to go on a walk. I live in a townhome in a quiet area of Henderson. We have a back patio with a raised bed/dog potty and real grass in it. I also walk Lexie twice a day. I can walk your dog with Lexie or separately.
Information Michelle G. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know if the animals we sit or board are aggressive in any way. My senior girl is very sweet and calm. We need to board/sit friendly pets, so my pet and others stay safe.
A typical day
We have plenty of parks within a mile or two from my home. I’m a big proponent of dog walks. I know dogs instinctively enjoy walks and they stimulate dog’s minds and release energy! I attribute my senior dog, Lexie’s good health to her regular walks.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my entire life. My family and I always had multiple dogs growing up and I helped care for the other animals such as guinea pigs, pet mice, and a cockatiel. I have a senior, Australian Shepherd mix named Lexie Belle. She’s 15 years old, docile, and house trained. I’ve gained a great deal of senior dog experience taking care of her.

My furr babies, Cashew and Ziggy LOVE Michelle. She follows my dog sit instructions very closely and always asks great questions if something is missing in the instructons or is not clear. She let's me know how they are doing, if they are eating, and if she observes something different in their disposition.I get cute photos of them on occasion. I will hire Michelle again without question. She has sat for our pups at least four times now and she is super responsible and conscientious about her role. Thank you, Michelle. We appreciate you so much!

Michelle never disappoints. She has watched our two furr babies at least three times now. She is super conscientious about following all instructions and knows how to engage with the pups so they feel comfortable in her presence. Michelle regularly kept me abreast of how the pups were doing and sent photos of them often. They are so comfortable with her now that she has sat with them a few times. She knows their personalities well, and treats each of them special according to their needs. One of our pups is 17 years old. He doesn’t see or hear well. Michelle is cognizant of his navigational and sensory needs. She is so good with him. I would recommend Michelle in a heartbeat. I look forward to her sitting with our pups again in the future. Thank you, Michelle!

This is the second time we have used Michelle to do drop-ins over the holiday. Again, she doesn't disappoint. She is meticulous about getting all the instructions accurate and asking great questions prior to the job. During her Drop-ins she played with our pups, throwing toys for them to chase, taking them outside to enjoy the yard and bask in the sun, and holding them in her lap to give them love. They adore her and are very comfortable with her. The dogs were well taken care of with Michelle. They ate, drank, and slept well under her care. Michelle was great about putting drops in one of our pup's eyes to lubricate them. Michelle's longstanding experience with pet care coupled with her high standards, good judgment, and kindness are evident in her work and the obvious contentment of our furr babies. We trust her completely and plan to continue to hire her moving forward. Thank you so much, Michelle. Happy New Year to you and Lexie and your family. Lori and Rick

Michelle was the ultimate dog sitter for our fur babies, Cashew and Ziggy. She was professional from start to end. She met with us twice, first to meet us and the pups and ensure a good match. The second time, we met to go over instructions. Each of these initial visits, she made time up to engage with the pups and help them to get to know her. She took notes and asked good questions. Throughout the week, she navigated a somewhat difficult feeding regimen very well. She spent over an hour with the pups on her first visit just so the pups would feel comfortable with her coming and going. She was diligent about locking doors, turning lights off, and keeping the dog bowls and area clean. She picked up poop and administered eye medicine to our older pup. Michelle, is kind, caring, and personable. We knew our pups were in great hands with Michelle. She sent updates and pics to us daily. No doubt we would hire Michelle again. We are grateful for her pet sitting knowledge and skills. Thank you so much, Michelle. 😃😉🤗L & R
