I’ve looked after dogs since I was a young girl. I always loved to look after my Nan’s Golden Retriever when we stayed there. I enjoyed taking her for walks, grooming her, feeding her, and so on. I’ve had a dog myself in the past and enjoy their company. I love to go out walking and love to be have their company. I’m an honest, friendly and reliable person that would not let you or your pet down. I’m happy to complete drop ins and look after your pet within my own home.

Very happy with how Michelle took care of my cats this weekend at very short notice in her lovely home. I can tell they have been so well loved & looked after. I had lots of updates, photos & videos throughout the stay that gave me peace of mind, and they have come back very relaxed, pampered & happy. It was definitely a home from home for them, & I can’t recommend Michelle highly enough.
We recently used Michelle for a long weekend for a few family dogs. Michelle was really responsive and called us when needed (two of the dogs had a few tricky moments which was unexpected!!) Michelle remained calm throughout all contact with us whilst we problem solved how to manage it. It all figured itself out and Michelle and the dogs had a wonderful weekend of snuggles, walks and pup cups! Bonnie came back relaxed and POOPED. We would use Michelle again in a heart beat :)
Michelle looked after Dilara like she was her own dog. She was given love and attention. That wasn't easy as Dilara has some challenges as a rescue dog that are still showing themselves, including toileting issues. Michelle was honest with me about these, but she wasn't cross or blaming. I would recommend Michelle wholeheartedly. Dilara proved a tricky dog to look after, whilst a lovely and gentle girl, and Michelle continued to give her love and care throughout.
I was worried about leaving my dog as she's a rescue that we're still learning about, but Michelle was very reassuring. I met her and saw the home in which Dilara would be staying. Michelle and family looked after my dog as if it were their own. I had regular updates and Dilara really was given the best care and attention, even radio and fairy lights at bed time to help settle her. I've booked Michelle for our next trip already. It really makes a difference knowing Dilara will be so well looked after!
Our pup settled really well with Michelle. He’s an active dog and Michelle took him out twice a day in a variety of settings that suited his needs. We got lots of lovely videos and pictures plus updates. Michelle also let us visit before our pup’s stay so we were confident we had found a really warm loving home for him. Cannot fault anything and will definitely use again.
Daisy and Poppy cocker spaniels stayed for a week with Michelle and her family . I don’t like leaving them but Michelle was so kind and patient the girls took to her instantly and I was able to leave them with peace of mind. Communication was brilliant with lots of messages and photos. The girls were happy and relaxed when I collected them. Will definitely recommend and will be happy to leave my girls with her anytime. I know they had such a good time, lots of fuss and walks. I couldn’t ask for anything more 😊

Schedule
I only work two days a week from home in the spare room. I have three breaks when I do work I drive, I live in a detached house with a large enclosed garden..

I would care for pets in my home or someone else’s home by showing them lots of love and attention. Make sure they’re fed and watered, walked & groomed. And, ensure they feel safe.
A typical day
We would go out walking to different nature reserves and National Trust Properties. I would ensure your dog has balls, toys, treats. I will ensure your dog is kept on a lead where needed. We will go out four times a day for a walk, morning, afternoon, tea time, and bedtime.
