I am currently a stay-at-home mom with a 3 year old son. Our days start fairly early, and we only have 1 nap a day to work around at noon, but this breaks up the day nicely into defined morning, afternoon, and night chunks.

First and foremost, I understand that pets are often so much more than "just pets". I usually refer to them as "fur-babies" (or just "baby" for the fur-less varieties) because more often than not, they become your child. I do my best to stick to the routine you have with your fur-baby, especially since this can help ease the pet while you are away and make it less scary for them. If you have a pet that requires something different from the others, and it's part of your routine, I am fully prepared and capable of ensuring each gets what they need. My goal is to make sure your pet(s) are well cared for, and you aren't worrying about them while you are away.
Information Michelle F. would like to know about your pet
I like to know if your pet has any allergies or food sensitivities, and if they are on any medication for them. If they eat a special food, I would like to know that too. I need to know what vet they are established at, just in case anything happens. I would like to know if they are current on shots, heartworm, and flea and tick preventions.
A typical day
Dogs always have a favorite toy and/or way of playing. Mine, for example, loves destroying toys by pulling the stuffing out of them, making a little pile next to her, searching for the squeaker (all of which are promptly picked up so nothing is ingested). When she's satisfied with the destruction, she then brings it to us to play tug of war with the rest of it. I love to see what dogs choose as their favorite toys, and how they enjoy playing.

Pet care experience
I grew up with 4 cats, 2 dogs, and a tank full of fish, so I learned from a very young age to care for and love animals. Eventually I started taking care of other people's animals, learning about different routines, toys, treats, foods, and animal personalities. I have 2 senior cats that I have loved since I took them in back in 2012. I also worked at Pet Supplies Plus for a little over a year, learning about pet nutrition, health and wellness, and enrichment activities for dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, and a wide variety of fish and reptiles.
Reviews

Michelle is always great with my two cats. She loves them like they are her own. This was the first time I went away for 2 weeks and I was more at ease knowing she would be checking on them everyday

Michelle was absolutely amazing. She was able to connect with my shy guy so quickly and really made me feel secure while out of town. Highly recommend!!

As usual, Michelle and Archer made our pets feel safe and loved while we were on vacation. Even when one of our cats destroyed our Christmas tree she helped clean up his mess! Our cats got lots of love and our kitten got his silly’s out with Archer. I will continue to rebook Michelle for all my trips!

Our first experience using Rover, and boy oh boy, did we hit the jackpot with Michelle!! We went out of the country for Christmas, and she cared for our dog, 5 cats and a bearded dragon. I received regular updates and the best pictures so we were assured that our babies were okay. She went above and beyond, bringing in mail and packages. I can't wait to go on vacation again, knowing Michelle and her sweet boy, Archer have us covered!
