Mama, Wife & Dog Lover
I am an energetic and loving mama and wife. I have one chick left at home in the nest. Our elderly Black Lab, Bo just recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 14. I am a teacher by trade, turned small woman business owner, quite by accident. When I am not gathering women together for writing classes, workshops and retreats, you will find me hiking, dancing in my living room, or singing at red lights. I adore my family which includes my patient husband and 5 daughters. Due to my strong sense of accountability, I have become the “go-to” girl amongst friends and family to care for their homes and pets while they are gone. If I stay in your home, I intentionally leave it better than when I arrived because that is how I would like to return after a trip. I lovingly care for your space and Poochie as if they are my own.

Michelle took absolutely incredible care of our home and our dog, Frankie, for a full week, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease thanks to her excellent communication and thoughtful updates. She clearly cared for Frankie as if she were her own, giving her so much love and attention. We came home to a happy dog and a house that looked even better than we left it. Schedule
Being an avid hiker and walker, I look forward to opportunities for fitting active pet care into my daily routine. I miss our beloved Black Lab and live to love other doggos! But if you have an elderly pup who needs some extra chill snuggles, I am that girl, too.

Since 2024, I have been caring for people’s dogs through Trusted Housesitters. Each time I sit in someone's home, I treat the dog and space as if they are my own. Due to my organization, reliability, self-sufficiency, cleanliness, and the way that I care for pets, I have earned over twenty 5-star reviews.
A typical day
I provide an overall sense of ease, with walks in the morning and evening as well as hiking local trails if that is preferred. Throwing the ball, giving head pats, and generally loving on your dog is my main incentive.
