Love dogs. Work for animal charity
I care deeply about animals and have worked for an animal charity since 2015. I love being around dogs and taking care of them. They come with me everywhere they’re allowed to and get their own dedicated walks, exercise, and sniff time. Their wellbeing (healthy snacks, comfort, mental stimulation, togetherness) is my top priority for the whole stay. At home, I follow their cues for cuddles, and I’m big on making sure they always have a full dish of fresh water and are fed their meals on time. My building has a nice fenced in garden that gets lots of sunlight and we visit frequently outside of bigger walks.

Piper had a good time with Michelle and tried to eat her out of house and home.. the greedy wee spaniel! She loved the local walks and being off lead as well as a dip in the river to cool off. Michelle kept us updated with news and photos. Thanks Michelle!
Magnolia really enjoyed her stay with Michelle!! Michelle was communicative and provided amazing updates while Magnolia stayed with her. She took Magnolia on some fun outings around town and to the park. I am sure Magnolia cannot wait to stay with Michelle again 🐶
Michelle was amazing with our dog Freddie. She was keeping me updated with photos and making sure all his needs were met. Michelle took Freddie on long walks. Michelle was absolutely fantastic with my dog Gus! She was super accommodating as it was our first time boarding him via Rover, she even met us for a quick pre-meet to ensure the fit was right. Gus immediately felt comfortable and at ease with Michelle, she kept us super up to date with all their adventures, and Gus had a wonderful time. Michelle was really accommodating with any specific instructions, and was really thorough and caring. I would definitely use Michelle again for any boarding/ dog care needs! Thank you for taking such good care of Gus :)

Schedule
I work from home 9 to 5 Monday to Friday so they hang with me during work and I take them out 5x a day starting around 8am, ending around 10:30pm. In the evenings I go to the gym at 5:30 and maybe Tesco - away for up to 2 hours. I leave soft music on for them.

I’m very close to lots of green spaces including St Marks park, Eyre st park, and some gorgeous trails. Aside from garden breaks, I take them on two big walks. If they can go off lead I’ll give them some independent exploring time in a park. My flat has a fenced in garden so we go there 3x a day and I never have them go more than 4 hours without a chance to relieve themselves. I usually send one update midday and another in the evening, but can tailor it depending on your preference.
A typical day
I take the dogs down for a garden break the when we wake up, around 8. I take them out again around noon for a real walk (30 mins), and if they can go off lead, then to a park for fetch (if they like that). If they stay on lead, I stick to trails. We do garden again around 4, then a big walk around 7pm, and a garden trip before bed (5 trips total). On the weekends, we’re walking all the time and I bring them with me everywhere they’re allowed to come. I have no animals of my own and only watch one at a time.
