Your pup deserves a vacation too!
Hi! We understand that leaving your precious dog with a stranger is a big decision. So we will do everything in our power to make them (and you!) as comfortable as possible. - Frequent updates. We love taking pictures of our fun activities and sharing them with you :) - We do not have children however we have a golden retriever, Nacho. - Meet and greets (when available). We often do a quick meet and greet so you and your pup can see meet Nacho and our place. Please note that it is not always possible, especially if we are boarding another dog. We kindly ask that you mention you would like a meet and greet before booking. - Near constant supervision. Evan works from home so there will almost always be someone with your dog. If your dog requires someone there 100% of the time, we will make sure our schedules are clear when we accept the boarding. Just let us know :) We love dogs of all shapes and sizes! We both have experience taking care of different breeds, temperaments, and ages of dogs. We have taken care of puppies, high energy dogs, and even elderly dogs. Our dog boarding journey started with Wag. We have over fifty - 5 star reviews and recently decided to expand to Rover. We have no problem going at the pace of our guest. We are super friendly and patient and will treat any pet as if it were our own! We will go above and beyond to make sure that our guests have a wonderful stay. We also provide a ton of toys and are equipped with basic dog necessities such as dog poop bags, and doggy bowls. Dogs are welcome on all furniture (except tables 😂). Michelle speaks Spanish if needed. Please note that we live on the third floor. We love senior dogs but if they are too big or don’t like to be carried and stairs are difficult, we may not be the best option.

Chauncey had an amazing time with Michelle and Evan. They provided so many pictures and videos that put my mind at ease on vacation. I hope Chauncey has the opportunity to stay with them again because he loved the experience.
Second time I’ve had Marve stay with Michelle & Evan and they were amazing, he loved his stay and I’d definitely book with them again.
I cannot thank Michelle and Evan more. I feel very lucky to find them from Rover, and I believe Padfoot (my dog) shares the same gratitude with me. I can tell they genuinely love dogs instead of doing Rover purely for income. Now, Padfoot gets riled up when hearing Evan and Michelle’s names and drag me to rush to their place’s direction (we live very close)! I have no doubt that Padfoot was treated as a family.
Evan and Michelle are wonderful people. Not only do they really care about your pet, but they send great pictures! We didn’t even need to ask for an update - Evan and Michelle are awesome about keeping communication and we are so happy they were available to watch our dog. We will always be looking to use Evan and Michelle’s services moving forward - and you should too!
Michelle and Evan were amazing! They were kind and caring to our dogs. They spoiled them so much we thought the dogs wouldn’t want to come back home with us and that’s how you know they are truly doing something because they love the animals. We are so grateful ☺️
I feel so lucky to find Evan and Michelle!! They are the best of best. If you are looking for someone genuinely love dogs, you should go for them. But if you get jealous easily when seeing your dog loves Michelle (she is a dog magnetic!), don’t go for them. They are definitely my recommendation, and it is your choice 😉

Schedule
Evan is home on weekdays so there will be near constant supervision. We won’t take accept a boarding just to leave the pup at home alone all day. We usually start our day off with a morning walk around 8am or earlier if that is requested. We’ll do an afternoon walk which we might also tie in with a hike or a trip to an empty dog park and we end our day with a night walk before bed. There three walks are the minimum we do, we’re flexible to anything. On weekends we take our pups with us to dog friendly locations. We take into consideration if the pup is comfortable with other dogs and people before taking them out. Our schedule revolves heavily on our guests and we do everything we can so they feel comfortable in our home.

Our apartment has a big couch which we allow the pups to use. We have a toy box filled with balls, stuffed animals, ropes, kongs, etc. It’s expected that toys get played with so we have constant supervision and discard any broken toy. We also are equipped with puppy pads if needed. We have dog bowls for food and water which we make sure are adequately filled.
Pets
A typical day
One of our favorite hiking trails is Calavera trail. We’ll navigate different trail lengths depending on the weather and how much energy is left in our furry guests. We always have water ready and ask for permission prior to any excursion. If our pups are on the sedentary side we’ll take them with to dog friendly cafes to hang out. On occasion we’ll ask for permission to treat your pup with a puppy patty from In n Out.

- We would like to know of any triggers such as small animals, other dogs, people, etc. We would also like to know comfort items so that we can provide as much of a safe space as possible. Any special diet information is helpful. We would like to know morning and night time routines so that we can stick to the normal expectations that the pup may have. Lastly we would love to know any nicknames so that we can bond and gain trust with our furry guests.
